A great steak dinner 8/25/2005

The ambience is a little Godfathers-esque, but the food is great. Be forewarned - they do not take credit cards, except American express. (Nothing spoils a romantic dinner like someone having to run out to the ATM). It is a very traditional menu, oldies but goodies. A little pricey but a romantic restaurant. The selection of steak, fish and pasta makes a nice, well-rounded menu, but everything is a la carte. more

Old world charm in this perennial favorite. Be prepared for being taken care of like you are part of "The Family", although you will pay for the privilege. Some of the best veal chops in the city. The ambiance is perfect for a special, romantic occasion. Remember to tip the maitre'd for a faster table. more
