Soula, the owner of this place is a freaking GENIUS with layers. I've been going here for 4 years and have never once been disappointed. I almost always bring pictures to show her and she always gives me a better cut than I thought possible. She's not afraid to go funky if you want that, or tone it down if you need to be a bit more conservative. I won't go anywhere else! more

Great salon all around 5/26/2007

I live in Somerville and, although I love my city, I didn't have high expectations when I booked a last minute foil and color at Salonika, which is just outside of Davis Square. Well, I'm thrilled with the results and the experience. The women who run the place are talented and down-to-earth, and the prices are very reasonable. At their new location (96 Holland Street) there is a comfortable, airy atmosphere, good music and the perfect amount of conversation. And, there's a great boutique across the street (Cibelina) if you have time. more
