One of the joys in my life is getting a great color and haircut. And I have found that Salon Whimz is the best place around to go. I LOVE this place! I first saw the great reviews and thought I'd try it out. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair and I really needed a new place. And I feel I have definitely found that at Salon Whimz. The staff is very friendly and does a great job. The salon is very beautiful and up to date. You can also tell the stylist are well educated and love their jobs. I think that Salon Whimz is one of the BEST by far salon/spas in the metro east area. Everyone in the salon, stylists nail techs and front desk staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. The entire staff is like one huge family, they are always working together!!! They moved locations 4 years ago , just to make the salon bigger and better. They have 11 Stylists, one nail tech, and a few stylists that offer nail services as well, their is one person for skin care and facials and waxing, there is one make up artist, they also have 4 girls for the front desk!!! Salon whimz has won first place for the Readers Choice Awards 3 years!!!! Everyone that leaves Whimz leaves with a HUUGE smile on their face, and they cant wait to sent their friends and family to whimz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I ended up with a very crooked haircut there. I received very rude, poor customer service when I called back to request that the haircut be fixed. I ended up paying more money to go elsewhere to have my haircut fixed. They had to cut over an inch off the length of my hair and a lot of my layers were cut to even everything out. It will take 1-2 more haircuts for my layers to finally even out this haircut was so bad. I emailed pictures of my crooked haircut to the salon owner along with an explanation of how upset I was about the experience I had at the salon and the response I received was very condescending. There was no acknowledgement of poor quality service or poor customer service. more

Absolutly the best salon in the Metro East and now that Whimz is in the new building it is even better. You can expect all the amenities of a high dollar spa right in Belleville. Make and appointment for everything from your hair to your feet. The staff is super friendly and I promise you will leave with a smile on your face.
