I'm new to town and I've had the same person cutting my hair for the past 6 years because I am pretty particular about my hair. A coworker recommended Salon Wayne and this place nailed the cut. It didn't just look good when I left either, I've been getting comments for the past 4 weeks. There's something about having a good haircut, and I will definitely be returning. Not to mention that the staff is very friendly and professional, the pricing is reasonable, and the vibe of the place is perfect for the male customer, too. Pros: Great man's hair cut. I'm new to Stamford and was looking for a good place to get my hair cut. Well, I got an absolutely terrible hair cut from another place in Stamford. I was afraid to try and get it fixed because it was already shorter than I had hoped, but it was so bad I decided I had to do it. Jamie was great and listened to everything I had to say. He ended up fixing everything! He was able to fix it without taking off much length and made it look like I had never had a bad cut in the first place. It's a little on the pricey side from what I'm used to, but compared to other places around I would say this is most definitely worth it. I will definitely be going back! When I transfer to Stamford, I tried several salons and stylists before I found one that satisfied all of my needs. Salon Wayne is just that place. In their stylist Paula, I have found an individual who is a most talented hair cutter and stylist. My initial appointment started with an in depth discussion as to what I wanted and expected from her. She in turn made a few welcomed recommendations including a color enhancement that better suited me and my life style. As a result this first visit, I walked out with what I believe was a great hair cut and styling. My feeling was confirmed by the many compliments received from friends and family on my new hair style and color. I have experienced this same high level of service and satisfaction in subsequent appointments with Paula. The salon?s location is convenient. Paula is friendly and attentive to details. I always feel great after I leave from my appointment. I highly recommend this salon. Pros: Friendly and responsive to needs more

I've been a client of Wayne's for over 20 years and was thrilled when he made the move and opened his own salon. His talent and personality are beyond compare. In opening his own salon he used his artistic flare in its design making it warm and inviting. He also brought with him, and subsequently hired, staff who are friendly and attentive and are also very professional in the manner in which they interact with clients and provide services. Two in particular who stand out are Lisa and Jackie. My three teenagers now also get their hair done by Rosie and love her. I have also recommended many others over the years all of whom have thanked me and continue to receive hair care there. In addition to the wonderful service, Wayne and his staff give back to the community in many ways donating their services for the benefit of a number of local charities. This is something that should not be overlooked and should be applauded at a time when it seems that so many other businesses use untrained staff who are only intent on taking your money. I whole heartedly recommend Salon Wayne for its professional approach to hair care and hospitable and talented employees. more

I have been a Salon Wayne client for two years now and I really enjoyed my experience there. The head massage during the shampoos are fabulous! I am always please with my haircut and color. I am impressed with the classiness of the salon - a really high end feeling, but affordable. The staff is very friendly and I am always greeted with a smile. I have visted several salons, but Salon Wayne is the first one I have consistantly returned to. I love my hair when I leave! It seems like the color just looks more natural as well as stays longer when I have it done there, maybe it's the glaze? I love Jackie, their friendly receptionist, and lets face it Wayne is easy on the eyes! Pros: beatiful atmosphere, friendly staff, talented stylists Cons: I can't think of any more
