Frustrated by exorbitant prices, exaggerated egos, and crowded salons all over Atlanta, one year ago, I did a google search for an affordable but good salon, and Salon VII came up. By good, I mean competent. Tran is the sole owner and operator of his salon, and he is very concerned with the client's happiness. To say only that Tran is affordable and competent does not adequately describe his abilities. He is talented, consistent, and if that weren't enough, pleasant and unassuming. His salon is quiet, and if you schedule during Monday through Friday, you may be the only client in the salon, almost like a spa. Worth every hard-earned penny to me! more

Finally!!!! 1/8/2008

It took me forever to find a stylist & when she moved I was lost! I was referred to Tran, and he happened to be across the street from my old stylist. At first I was hesitant, but I absolutly adore him. He's great with hair & color. He has given me the best haircut that I have ever had & I would recommend him to anyone! Hair is an art for him not just a paycheck. He has worked in some of the largest salons in Atlanta! But now close to home. My husband is also going to him too!\r If you are looking for an awesome haircut & fabulous color and a great price..call Tran!\r PS I forgot to mention he also gives scalp & neck massages along with your cut/color!!!!! more

Salon VII is a top notch city salon right in the burbs 3/2/2007

I was looking for a salon close to my job in Duluth and couldn't be happier that I found Tran.\r \r Tran listens carefully to what I was looking for in style, color, maintenance and delivered exactly what I needed. The salon is convenient, beautifully appointed and comfortable without the pretention of upscale boutique salons. Tran takes tremendous care and pride in his work and it shows in the results. more

Finally! A Buckhead-quality haircut in Duluth! 12/6/2006

This salon is an undiscovered gem. I have been to salons all over North Fulton--many of them very expensive--and Tran has given me the best haircut I've ever had. He takes great pains to shape the cut to your facial structure and your hair type. Consequently, I can dry and style my hair in a fraction of the time I used to use and it looks fantastic. I also got color and highlights, and it looks fabulous! You won't be disappointed! Pros: Great haircut, reasonably priced, easy to get to Cons: Stip mall is not that exciting, but the salon itelf is tastefully decorated with a nice ambience more
