Facials, hair and massage 2/3/2012

I love Salon Therapy. I've had wonderful services there, particularly, Liz, whose gives the MOST wonderful, relaxing facials!! I highly recommend her! The salon is friendly, comfortable and most of all, very welcoming! more

Liz gives the best facial! 2/2/2012

It was my first time at the salon and I had a facial with Liz. From the begining she made me feel so welcome and relaxed. I have had many facials at the day spas in Boston and her facial was so much better. I had the best time, she was informative but did not pressure me into buying anything, I will be back soon. Liz is a keeper! more

Finially, a place my hair can call home.... 1/20/2012

So I've been through many stylists, mostly because I have long wavy/curly hair, and want to keep it long, so no one has any idea how to handle it. But then I come, on a whim, to Salon Thairapy and everything changes. As soon as I walk in the door I'm met by the nicest people. Alayna took time to talk with me before hand, not just "what cut do you want" but about what I'm looking for, about my thoughts, worries and daily routine (so surprising for this day and age) and then she actually listened! (which is completely unheard of). During the wash and cut we chatted about everything (no more awkward silent hair cuts for me!) and made me feel completely at home. The best part is I walk out of there with a FABULOUS cut, that fits me, my style, personality and hair, with a few tips thrown in. Thank you Alayna! more

Moriah is a fabulous hair designer. She is creative and I love the fact that she is willing to try something different with my hair so I never get bored and I always love what she does. Her personality is positive and upbeat I love having her as my Hair Designer. Oh Mylanta she is great. more

The employees here are the best! 12/7/2011

I came in for a spa service, which was excellent as usual. Liz is amazing and did an excellent job. More though, she is friendly, positive, and knows the balance between silence and too chatty. There is just the right amount of discussion so that you don't feel awkward but you still feel relaxed. Also, though, when I walked in the door, Moriah was there and we chatted for a minute. She noticed that I wasn't my usual self and took a couple minutes to get me a cup of tea, listen, and help me relax before my appointment. I ended up having a nice, relaxing experience with my worries put aside for an hour or so, and all because Liz and Moriah made me feel like I was truly a guest. Thanks so much! more

Fabulous first experience! 12/4/2011

Salon Thairapy was recommended to me by my sister-in-law but I was nervous anyway. It's always scary to put your hair...your whole look in the hands of someone you've never met before. But what a delightful surprise the Salon itself was, and then there is my new look! Love the place, love the look, love Alayna! This is my new favorite place! more

My Friday "haircut" 12/3/2011

I always look forward to my appointments at Salon Thairapy. I am playing for goods and service and I receive it. As I run a small business myself, I know what kind of service I like to deliver to feel good and I feel that Chris and Julie have that same mindset. I have NEVER been to a stylist who is as engaging as Chris. My routine with other "pampering professionals" is that I always end up engaging/ "interviewing" people I am paying dearly where I think the interview should be going in the opposite direction. I always feel good when I leave my ST appointments --and think I look good (granted, they can't make 60 look like 20!) more

Very Happy 11/30/2011

I recently saw Chris for a relaxer treatment for my curly hair. I was very nervous, because I did not want to loose the curls. After chatting with Chris, she put me at ease. My curls are are now softer with less frizz. Im very happy with the treatment! As always, everyone in the salon was friendly and Chris was amazing! more

Alway a great experience 11/30/2011

Just stopped in to buy some gift cards and make a long overdue hair appointment. Luckily one of my favorite stylists was available and she took me right away and did a great job as usual. What a great deal they are having on gift cards! I bought a few for myself and family and received several $20 free gift cards that I now have as gifts for friends or family. The $20 gift card would make a nice "yankee swap" gift for a coworker or a teacher too. You only have to purchase a $40 gift card or $40 in products to get the free $20 gift card. more

Loved my hair cut and color, found that staff was friendly, and catered to my needs. I understand that selling additional services and products is very important, but I found that to be a little bit annoying. Over all happy with the service and will return more
