Salon Shag

I've been returning to Salon Shag for two years. The receptionist offers a warm welcome and if you're in for a wait (usually not long if you've made an appointment), they provide you with reading material and refreshments (coffee, tea or water). There are plenty of stylists that cater to a primarily Asian community, so the major dialects spoken are Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Prices vary depending on the type of service you request, and you can always call ahead to inquire about charges. But like most salons, the fees are mid-range but totally affordable if you're looking to get some great style. I was rather lucky to stumble across Jobie who mixes the conventional and not so conventional when it comes to styling. Every time I leave the salon with a new style/cut, I get rave reviews and compliments. Oh, and he always provides great hints and tips. I took my grandma here because she needed a hair cut. My mom told me to take her here so i didn't know what to expect. the people there were really nice and caring. They took extreme care of my grandma and did a fine job. The price isn't too bad. the inside looks cool. And it didn't take long so i was out and about. good place. more

The only reason i went here was because a friend asked me too. I haven't cut in hair in months so i decided to give it a shot. First, the price range was 15 bucks for men which was a little pricey for me. They did a decent job, made me look sharp. It was easy to communicate with the people even though they spoke little english. The lady did a great job, the store was real appealing, and they have a great business. Check them out. more
