If you want the ultimate salon experience Salon Serenity is the place for you!! I moved about a year ago from Orlando and had the same hair stylist for 6 years... I was weary to move to a new town & scared to have just anyone cut/color my hair. When going through City Search it was a no-brainer to give Salon Serenity a chance with all of the raving reviews. \r \r From the time you pull up it is an unbelieveable Hollywood type of experience. From the free valet service to the beautiful salon it felt so great right from the start. Carol did my highlights/lowlights and she truly is a color expert. I have dark hair & she initally spent so much time with me going through books to make sure she showed me exactly what she wanted to do w/ my hair. It turned out so amazing & was such a great look for me... i have never received so many compliments in my life on my hair color & style. \r \r Stephanie did my cut & style and she really was a great listener & did a healthy trim just as I wanted (sometimes you go to salon's and regardless of what you tell them they end up doing what they want but not at Salon Serenity). She gave me some great long layers & styled it with wavy curls which was a great change for me since I always where my hair straight. I left there feeling like a million bucks & so happy to have found such an amazing salon.\r \r I will be going back for years to come. The salon has a warm & inviting feel & both Stephanie & Carol are so awesome & easy to talk to. I felt as if I had known them for years. I have been back several times throughout the last year & have each time tops the last. \r \r I would highly recommend going there & you will not be disappointed with your choice. This unique salon is a small alcove located in the Spa section of the prestigious Turnberry Ocean Colony. I discovered it about 5 years ago after trying at least 10 other salons in the Miami area of the years. From the second you arrive, you are treated to full service valet... FOR FREE... and the staff is gracious and is happy to walk you through the somewhat maze of hallways to reach the spa area on the first lower floor of the building. After a few visits I was finally able to find it myself.... Ok -Give me a break - I'm blonde... well sort of -a lot blonder now thanks to Carol, the colorist at Salon Serenity ;) \r \r My first haircut there was done by owner-stylist, Stefanie Galliardo...... and every haircut since has been done by Stefanie -- as I let NO ONE touch my hair anymore but her and her talented, experienced team of stylists and colorist. Stefanie is a true professional and takes great time and care when she is styling. When I decided to chop 12 inches off my hair and go short I had no doubts that Stef would give me an amazing style..... and she did! And I always say you can tell how good a haircut is done by how well it grows out and I have never struggled with this cut as it grows out.\r \r I live in the Bahamas and actually fly to Florida to have my hair done by her. After literally years of making do with being satisfied but never thrilled, finally found THE place! Two extremely gifted and experienced experts make this salon the best. Carol can do magic with color, recognizes spots where your hair fights back and adjusts the mixture to the needs of your hair. Stephanie is a professional who listens to you and is also very creative in her ideas. She knows how to cut hair and no matter how delayed I am in getting back when my hair needs to be cut, it continues to look good even when it is grown out. My hair hasn't looked this good in 18 years living in Miami. The atmosphere is realxed, friendly and genuine. more

This salon has an amazing energy. You walk in and it feels good to be there no matter how busy they are. Stefanie is the best hair stylist I could have ever asked for. She totally transformed my hair. I love my new look. It is fresh, cute and playful...exactly how I wanted it. Carol is the color artist guru and makes it looks so easy. She did my low and highlights on a busy Saturday with a 100% commitment. The result was just amazing. Stefanie and Carol are great. They are fun, creative, dedicated to their professional work and most important thing is that they both listen to what you want and like. I highly recommend this place. Well ladies, I am happy to report that the reviews are true! \r \r Carole did my color- no small feat returning me to my ""natural"" dark brown from too blonde high lights! The color looks fabulous! \r \r Stephanie did an equally fabulous job cutting my hair and blowing it out! I have curly hair which some stylists have trouble giving a proper cut. No problem here! \r \r Both are friendly and personable which makes the experience all the better! I will be returning! Pros: Talented, Personable, Profession, Great color, Great Cut! more

I had not had my haircut for 7 weeks and had no idea what to expect. I am a 54 year old male who have had the same stylist for 30 years.\r The salon is immaculate and in a very classy building.\r Steffanie was amazing, from start to finish.\r I let her do her thing because I had a vibe that she knew what to do. She is a true artist and I feel blessed to have found her.\r She was hip and great to talk to which made me feel comfortable.\r She left nothing untouched from my eyebrows to the hair on my back.The hair massage was amazing and put me into a trance.\r I walked out of there feeling great.\r Best haircut in my life,and that is something that I have never said.\r You cannot go wrong here!!!!! Stefanie has been cutting my hair for over a year, and it's never looked better. I always get a great haircut. I'm very fussy about my hair. She does a superb job, technically with lots of flair. Her haircuts also grow out beautifully. She is extremely conscientious and a true artist. Several times a week I get compliments on my hair (from both men and women). She's a sweetheart and confident...absolutely no attitude. I give her five stars. She also cuts my husband's hair (what there is of it). We travel 45 minutes from downtown Miami to her salon but would not dream of going anywhere else. more

This salon is amazing; I have been looking for a great salon since I moved to Florida. Carol fixed my color and gave me great options, and really tried to save my hair from being damaged. Stephanie did the exact hair cut I wanted; it looks just like the picture I brought in. The most important thing is that they both listen to what you want and like, in order to give you the best hair style. This solon is wonderful. Carol and Stephanie are hair gurus!
