After asking a total stranger where she had her hair done and she said everyone was great, I decided to give this salon a try. Cons: None that I can see more

I took a chance on this Salon because of the reviews posted on this site, and I'm glad I did! It is a very comfortable salon, probably due to it being family owned. But don't let 'the family owned' deter you from thinking the stylist are not 'up to date'. As far as I'm concerned, this salon is the best kept secret I've found in a long time. Adrian was my stylist and I am extremely pleased with the cut he gave me! So much so that I had to call the next day to let him know. If I can get the same results at home that I left the salon with, THAT""S a great cut! My next appointment is in a couple of weeks for a trim and color. Can't wait! more

Over the past 3 years i've been to well over 7 or 8 salons in the Miami, Ft. Lauderdale area. I've been searching for a stylist that listens and has good feedback. Most importantly I wanted a stylist who's services were without a doubt, what i was envisioning. After about the 7th OK color and cut i grew tired of searching! A co-worker suggested i try Salon Santiago and i figured one more try couldn't hurt. After my consultation with Adrian i knew i was in good hands. FINALLY I had found what i was looking for, he listened to my request and had wonderful feedback. I couldn't be happier with the color, the cut, or the service. Adrian is truly an artist of his craft. I recommended him to all my friends and family and anyone who's looking for a fresher, more youthful look. Pros: Relaxing vibe & such a nice staff. Cons: none! more

I am a new customer.......Antonio is a true talent. I have curly hair that is very difficult to cut. I haven't had a good haircut in 18 years! I have never been satisfied with a fresh haircut ever... Their hair products are amazing. My hair feels like satin ribbon. That is not easy for curly hair. I have gotten so many compliments on mine and my husbands haircuts that I'm spreading the word. each morning as i dry my hair--i am still thanking my lucky stars to have found Lisa at Salon Santiago. my dear friend recommends her to all of her friends--and i finally came around and tried it. i cannot express how happy i am with my cut and color. and the sample products are amazing! i have never really had any success with products--but these make my dead, thin hair --shiny and smooth. i know i sound like a P&G commercial--but go ahead and try their product one day and then your own the next--and you will see the difference too! and the great news they will give you some samples. the bottom line is that everywhere i go--people compliment my new hair. and it still shocks me as i have been losing it in clumps and had a bought of terrible psoriasis for the last 6 years. I recently visited Adrian at Salon Santiago. He gave me the greatest haircut ever!!!! I was very displeased. I asked him not to texturize my hair and asked if he could do it and he said yes. He texturized it. I called 3 times and he will not come to the phone nor call me back. My hair is a mess and I cannot even leave it curly. The whole haircut is uneven and it's very noticeable. I don't know who is writing their reviews, the salon was completely empty and a girlfriend said it's alway empty. more

I have been looking for a good salon for such a long time...I thought I would never find it until I found Salon Santiago on this website. I read all of the reviews and figured I had nothing to loose - after a couple of not so successful haircuts I was ready for a change. From the minute you arrive the staff is very attentive and friendly. Dorry listened carefully to what I thought I wanted and made some great suggestions, I am so happy I listened to her! My highlights are amazing! I gave Antonio my thoughts on the type of hair cut I was looking for and he delivered! Not only giving me a simple and very manageable haircut but a wonderful new look! The environment is very relaxed and the staff provided outstanding customer service (which is very hard to find)! I have already recommended them to my colleagues and friends...I will be back! You trust Salon Santiago! Its a great place to go to if you love your hair very much and are a picky person when it comes to who cuts it and colors it. I have very long hair and i travel across town just to see Scott! Pros: 1. From prices to the professionals its all GREAT! 2. They have the BEST hair products! I?ve been a client at Salon Santiago in Fort Lauderdale since they opened and have never been disappointed with the service I receive. My most recent visit is no exception, I had my facial done by Francesca ? it was absolutely fabulous! After my facial, she even gave me some make-up pointers and showed me some new application techniques. I left the salon feeling relaxed and refreshed. It?s so nice to go to a salon where the staff is so knowledgeable in their trade and friendly at the same time. I would hands down recommend this salon to anyone who asks. I recently had my second visit to Salon Santiago and I was compelled to write a review. Honestly, the service was outstanding in every way! Firstly, they were very accomodating in working around the client's schedule to find the best time to come in and if you need to come in urgently, they will make it happen. Secondly, the skills of the professionals there really blew me away. I have had such bad experiences with previous salons and was convinced I had ""difficult"" hair. On the contrary, Dorry perfected my highlights. She was thorough and really listened to what I wanted. The result: beautiful, multi-dimensional dramatic highlights. Then Scott shampooed and deep conditioned my hair. It was amazing! So relaxing and the products they use smell so good, it was like aromatherapy. Antonio then asked me how I wanted my hair cut. I wasn't exaclty sure how I wanted it cut but I knew what I wanted it to look like. So he absolutely made it look like the picture I had in my head. The result: long layers of soft, healthy hair cut in a modern style. I loved it! Thanks to the haircut, the highlights were just perfectly displayed. The cut worked so well with the color. I was so sold on their services that I wanted to take some product home with me, also because they smell so good! Francesca was very knowledgeable and helped me figure out what my skin care needs might be. She was great! And finally the true test, could I recreate this hair ""masterpiece"" at home by myself, without the assistance of this talented group of professionals? The answere is YES! I was surprised at how low maintenance the style was and I am so thrilled with the results! Thanks to them, I have a beautiful head of hair! I couldn't be happier with the results. I have never been to a salon like this in south Florida. It was such a hot day and I was so worried that my hair would not stay straight with the humidity, but Antonio made it happen! I got my hair done here for my birthday and the service I received was absolutely amazing. My hair is extremely hard to straighten because it is so curly and whatnot but it's even still straight! And It will most likely stay straight until after Christmas or until I wash it. My haircut is awesome, all the dead ends are gone and my hair is smooth and shiny. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone! I already told my aunt about it and she is going to make an appointment & I am coming back for new years to get my hair done!! Thank goodness for CitySearch! I'm new to the area and really needed to get my hair done. Thanks to the reviews on here, I tried out Salon Santiago. It was amazing. Scott shampooed and blew dry my hair. The shampoo was SO relaxing... the blowdry sleek and straight. (Scott cut my husband's hair earlier in the week and did a great job with that, as well.) Antonio did my cut and it's gorgeous. You can tell he is very particular about his work. Dory did my highlights... quite an undertaking since I had messed up my color pretty badly with some stuff I did at home. The result was a beautiful multi-dimensional color. I loved that they made suggestions and commented on what I was thinking of doing. more

I think the hardest thing to do in a new city is find someone you can trust with your hair! Well, thanks to all the reviewers because I decided to try Salon Santiago on your recommendation. I loved the calming atmosphere, and Dory and Antonio did a great job. Scott also did a great job on my favorite part, the shampoo. I really like my hair and I'm going back for sure! I recently moved to the Fort Lauderdale area from Atlanta and used CitySearch for listings of the best salons. What I found was a one-of-a-kind, top-notch salon at Santiago's. I had a full foil, cut and style with Dory and Antonio and must honestly say, I have never had these kinds of professional results! I am 110% satisfied and had to purchase an armload of their fantastic products! I love the feel, texture and movement of my hair and Santiago's will DEFINATELY be my salon hereafter. I'm very happy to have found Santiago's, an A-1 salon unlike I have ever visited that rates far higher than any I ever frequented in Buckhead in Atlanta! Superior staff, service and products. I had my hair highlighted, cut and blown out about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE the results! I have curly hair and Antonio knew just how to layer it so that it would look good curly or straight. This is a family-owned business and everyone is very nice and know exactly what they're doing with your hair. I read the other reviews before going here and I agree with all of them! Salon Santiago is the place to be. It's professional and family atmosphere allows you to feel right at home. From the front desk, to the manicures and pedicures, every service is top quality. If you want a basic hair cut, or a new color change to your hair, Salon Santiago is where you want to go. Did you mess up your color like I did? Than Salon Santiago is your solution. Their spa services are also amazing. I have received many facials and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Salon Santiago is so good, I drive 3 hours just for their service.
