Yesterday, I went there for eyebrow waxing. Inspite of taking an appointment before, they made me wait for 1 hour and then while waxing they put wax on my eyebrow and all my hair ...

Yesterday, I went there for eyebrow waxing. Inspite of taking an appointment before, they made me wait for 1 hour and then while waxing they put wax on my eyebrow and all my hair was removed.Instead of getting eyebrows done, they removed my hair.It was such an insult, they did'nt even give me a black pencil even after asking. I had to go for a meeting, and they recommended me to go to CVS. NEVER GO THERE..... more

Great experience every time! 2/28/2008

I've been going to Salon Sama for over a year now, first with Maria and now with Kathleen after Maria left. Kathleen is great! She listens to what I want, but also gives me great ideas based on what she thinks will work on me when I want something different. I always feel like she's 100% committed to making me look my best. She's always right & I always walk away thrilled! Plus, everyone else that works there is exceptionally nice as well. more

Loved it! 1/3/2008

My experience was ""The Best Ever!"" Great customer service and my new color and cut is fabulous!! The Stylist took the time to listen to what I was saying and helped me to decide on a color and cut that makes me look and feel terrific!! Pros: Welcoming staff, Cutting Edge Stylists, Full Service Salon that also offers Mani, Pedi, Waxing & Facials. Cons: I can't really think of one!! more

Great salon.. if you don't care about your hair 10/22/2007

Went there for a mens cut and got butchered. Worst cut I've had in as long as I can remember. Never had so many people tell me what a bad haircut I got. I now have to go to another salon to have it fixed up when it grows back. Pros: Free coffee more

This salon is great. I went to this place on a recommendation from a few friends. I got the exact cut an color I wanted. My stylist was excellent. The Staff was great, they were so helpful. You have to try this place Pros: customer service, cut Cons: nothing more

Not so much 11/16/2006

I went here on a recommendation....I won't return. My color turned out very red, I returned to have it fixed (free of charge)...it's better, but not great, certainly not $120 hair. The stylist was very gracious and willing to please but fell short with my results. Pros: friendly staff Cons: cramped salon, drab colors, dreary atmosphere, dirty worn chairs in seating area more

very good 11/15/2006

I have been to sama 2 times. Maria has cut my hair both times. First time I was cutting at least 6 inches off, (big change) she urged me not to go to dramatic. This was a good decision. i cut ALOT off and gradually went shorter as i got used to it. Second time there ws a little bit too much razoring on the layers, not sure if that was my descriptuion or not. overall this is a very good salon. more

I Am Not Sure 11/3/2006

First time i went, the cut and color were great, and I was told the next time the color would be cheaper than the first time. The 2nd time, I am very unhappy with the cut...it was supposed to be just a small trim from the original cut, yet the layering and angling is all different and it is not falling right at all, I need to have it fixed. The color was the same price as the first time. I don't know if i will go back. Pros: No wait for appointment Cons: Not consistant in quality of cut more

Got right in & my hair looks wonderful! 9/19/2006

Maria did a wonderful job on my hair. It's great that they take walk-ins. I didn't regret my spur of the moment change. The color came out incredible and so did the cut. It was exactly what I wanted. Pros: Walk-ins & last minute appointments OK. Didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment Cons: None that I can think of. more
