Linda has been my stylist for 8 years now. She does a wonderful job with people who have really fine and thinning hair. She makes time to get to know her clients and their needs. She listens well and is not afraid to tell her clients what is truly a good hair style for their look. You will not be disappointed with her abilities or her great personality! more

I have only been going to Larissa for about a year but she has done an amazing job everytime! Just recently I came in with several photos of a unique hair color that I was hoping to achieve. I have been going to Larissa since I was 14 and I am now 19. She does an amazing job, and I simply will not let anyone else do my hair... I am away at school and I still travel home to get my hair done by her. I get compliments on my blonde hair all the time, and everyone I send to Larissa loves her. Linda is a bight and energetic hairdresser who always gives me exactly the color and cut that I want. I found her though my daughter and on my first visit said " I have no idea what I want!" Since I have moved around a lot, country to country, state to state, it is always challenging to find a good hairdresser who is reliable, consistent and always makes me look good. When I moved to Kirkland in April I was extremely lucky to find Linda (through some mutual friends). From the very first time I met her in the salon, I have been amazingly pleased at her expertise, style and professional quality. It is my goal to grow old gracefully and I've always preferred a "natural" look but trying to find a colorist who "got it" was a 10 year process. I wanted to blend my graying hair with my natural brown so that it looked natural and I didn't have any "grow out" lines. Linda did what no one had ever been able to do. She duplicated my natural color EXACTLY. I can't tell you what this will save me in effort and money over the long run. I have never been so happy with a hair dresser. Larissa is a terrific colorist. I had been wanting to try balyage for a while, but there are very few places in town that do it. I made an appointment with Larissa and she really took time with her consultation to get to know what I was looking for. I have been foiling up to blonde for the last 15 years, so it was a challenge for me to describe what I was looking for. That being said, Larissa did an amazing job! The color is perfect! It is so natural and gorgeous! Hubby loved it too! I have had 2 appointments with her for color and have a third scheduled for January - and this time, I'm going to have her cut my hair as well. I tried balayage at Gene Juarez a year ago and I was hooked from the get go. I loved the look but didn't enjoy the pretense or the prices. I found Larissa (the only solo designer I could find practicing balayage). Everyone else was either with GJ or training to be a balayage specialist on the job. Larissa knew exactly what she was doing. She is confident, super stylish and capable. I make the drive from Lake Forest Park and she is worth the drive and farther. Larissa is the BEST! I LOVE her! I just had my hair done a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it! I had bayalage and a hair cut done and like them both equally! Big plus for me is that Larissa was SOOO SENSITIVE to my needs and whether I wanted to chat or not. Some hair stylists just don't have that figured out.... I really enjoyed myself the entire time. I don't get that many breaks these days, so I value my alone time quite a bit! Larissa is really impressive! I highly recommend her to anyone! Ciao! I went to Salon Rubio to see Joanne because a friend of mine who has FABULOUS hair referred me to her. Joanne was super sweet when I met her and listened to all my hair needs. I was nervous about coming to Salon Rubio for the first time, but I wanted to try this place because I've heard so many great things about the Salon. My appointment was with Tony. His consultation was great and he seemed to know exactly what new look I was going for; so I let him do his thing. MY COLOR AND CUT TURNED OUT AMAZING AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I'm always getting compliments on my hair from everyone! GO TO TONY! He is a wonderful stylist! more

I saw Larissa for the first time yesterday, and I'm so glad I did. I went to her because I had heard she was the best person in the Seattle area to go to for color. Larisssa trained and worked for Gene Juarez as a master colorist for 5 years in Redmond...this girl knows her stuff! Let me start by saying she is totally easy to talk to and actually took the time to really listen to my concerns and desires for my desired hair color and foil. I have gone to approximately 6 different colorists over the last year and a half and none of them did my hair right. By the time I came to Larissa...my hair color was a disaster. It had way too junky of highlights and it was very brassy...my red was orangey and my blonde highlights were too yellow...EWW! Larissa was able to get my hair a BEAUTIFUL light natural brown color with the most amazing natural blonde highlights. MY HUSBAND AND KIDS LOVE IT TOO!!!! I keep walking by mirrors to admire just how gorgeous it is! If Larissa could make my disaster of haircolor (I had about 5 different colors going on...no joke) look good, she can make anyone's hair look amazing! She truly is a master. I tried many other upscale salons and stylists....none of them could do what she did. It was quite a process, but Larissa was sure to use the most gentle procedures to get my hair color back to BEAUTIFUL. Thanks so, so much Larissa! I'm sold and will never let anyone else but you do my color! I will be sending all my friends and co-workers to you too! Did I mention how fun she is to talk with and how sweet she is too? Carolann Schmidt is the BEST at Salon Rubio! She not only does amazing color and fantastic cuts....but she does THE BEST hair extensions! Such high quality hair and perfect color matches. I recently relocated to Seattle from New York and was looking for a good hair stylist for Japanese Thermal care. I heard about Geena from my co-worker. So I went to her and she was really great as I heard! Not only she has a great skills - it was one of the best Japanese Thermal i had, she was also very friendly and honest. Last Saturday I had the complete works done by Jenny, and it is be best investment I've made in my appearance in a very long time. Jenny suggested a trendy hair style that turned out perfect.
