Great Cuts! 3/25/2011

Salon Plush has several nice lead stylist. I simply have never had a better haircut and color in all my years. I get a Hollywood quality result everytime I leave there and it is representative of the quality of the salon. The environment is clean, customer service is great and teh overall experience very positive. \r \r more

Best Salon and Hairstylist in Town 7/30/2010

I have been to hari salons all over the Los Angeles area-- some of the toniest in town. It was only when I went to Plush Salon, based on City Search ratings, that I finally found a hair stylist--Shannon Gregory--who listens to me,and can take what I say and turn it into the best darn haircuts and hairstyles I have ever had. The haircuts are reasonable by L.A. standards, but the results are unbeatable.\r \r In addition to her expertise in cutting and styling-- I have not needed color, but when I do, I trust she will be just as good-- she is one of the nicest women you can imagine. \r \r The salon itself is delightful. Very attractive and cozy wihout being pretentious. I highly recommend both Shannon Gregory and Salon Plush. Pros: intuitive hairstylist who listens to you in cozy setting more

Excellent all -purpose Salon... 2/2/2010

Having been to salons all over the westside, including Beverly Hills....I can truly say you are in for a fantastic experience when you make an appointment with Katrina. From the moment you enter the salon, you feel like an old friend in a very comfrotable setting, the mindset is important, as you don't feel like they're rushing you to get the next client in a chair. Give your hair and scalp a treat and try Salon Plush...and ask for Katrina...you'll be back as a regular soon. Pros: Katrina...top notch stylist who caters to clients needs! more

Hair so good you trust on your most important day. 1/21/2010

Christina has done my hair for several years and has always had the amazing ability to give me exactly what I want. But honestly what I love most about her amazing ability is being able to tell me what looks good. For example I have come in with this new look Ive seen on someone or in some picture. She is able to either take whats in my head and put it on my head, or tell me straight up that would not match your face shape. She knows her stuff and can adapt any dream in your head to match a great look for you. I trust her so much I did not hesitate to use her for my wedding and was so pleased with the results. She also did my makeup with also was immaculate. I highly recommend her to any and all! Pros: Every thing you can imagine. more

Relaxing Salon 1/10/2010

I started going to Christina via recommendation from my boyfriend. I have been going to her for quite some time now and have followed her around the West Side. I would not, could not think of ever letting anyone else touch my hair. She is always having me try knew things to keep up with the trends without being pushy or it being too drastic, I also love the new location!!!!! Pros: Full parking lot, cute front patio more

If you are looking for a nice spa like atmosphere then look no further. I go to Christina, she is professional, sweet, affordable and does exactly what I ask for always.The highlights are always natural and the cut grows out the best! Highly recommended! Pros: Parking, no snobs more

Best place for hair extensions!!! 7/3/2009

I have been getting my hair extensions done at Salon Plush for a year now and I would NEVER go anywhere else. Janet does fantastic job! The first time I got them I did not know what to expect and once they were in I fell in love! They match my hair color absolutely perfectly....they way she weaves in the long hair with the short hairs and the blondes with the browns makes it look so natural-- no one can tell it not my real hair. Janet really takes the time to make sure the color and the hair type matches perfectly and she won't be happy til it's perfect. I trust her completely with my hair. Just what you're looking for 6/1/2009

Until I started seeing Helen at Salon Plush I was convinced I wouldn't be able to find anyone as great as my former hairstylist on the east coast. I would literally wait until I went home to visit family to get my hair done! Thankfully, I found Salon Plush here on CitySearch, read the rave reviews, and booked an appointment with Helen hoping for the best. I got better than the best. My hair looked FABULOUS and each time I go back I know I'm going to get the same great results each time. I actually really enjoy getting my hair cut here, I count down the days to my appointment. Best of all, it's affordable. Helen is fantastic, friendly and beyond talented. She's the only person I've had cut and color my hair, but the rest of the staff seems just as friendly. What a great Salon! 3/8/2009

I just had my highlights and cut done by Shannon at Salon Plush, and I look great! She really listened to what I wanted.( I tend to be a little indecisive, she asked enough questions to figure me out!) I live nearby and I am so excited to have a new stylist so close to home. I highly recomend Shannon to anyone looking for a new stylist! The salon is clean, clean, clean and the atmosphere is calm yet hip. Everyone was really nice, I was greeted w/ hellos from several of the women when I walked in. I liked that! The salon also sells jewelry ( I got a pair of earings!) Pros: Parking in back. more

Great Haircut and Color with Helen Padilla 2/28/2009

I heard about Salon Plush from reading reviews and was so glad I went there.\r Helen did an amazing job! She helped me choose an entirely new haircut and I love it. Also, the color turned out great and I get tons of compliments on it. Helen is very knowledgeable about skin care and I plan to see her for a facial. I highly recommend Helen and Salon Plush. The salon itself is laid-back and I felt very comfortable there. Also, the prices are reasonable. more

Hip, cool and most importantly a clean environment... 2/6/2009

My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas! I had been complaining about my hair and that I needed a new cut for the new year! I went to Salon Plush and met with Helen Padilla. Salon Plush and Helen Padilla are fabulous 1/27/2009

I had a cut and dry from Helen Padilla over the weekend and she was great. She corrected a bad cut I had from a cheap chain salon, and gave me a fabulous style for a great price. Best kept secret 12/13/2008

I just went to Salon Plush and had my hair done by Helen. I used to get my hair done by her a few years ago and lost touch. I am so glad I have found her again, I have never found another stylist that 'gets me' the way she does. She gave me an amazing cut and color job and now she is doing facials here as well, a one stop shop for me, yey!!!!:) I highly recommend you give her a try, you will not be disappointed. I just received another fantastic cut (and beautiful color as well) from Janet. I've lived in L.A. for 7 years now and am incredibly bummed that I did not find this salon earlier. \r \r The service is outstanding and I always feel comfortable here. My first cut here was a few months ago, and I opted to only get bangs trimmed/not settle for an overpriced second rate cut until I could get back to Salon Plush. \r \r Fortunately, my cut held its shape for well over a month and now I'm sorted until I can get back. I've already received a ton of compliments - thank you Janet and Salon Plush for your excellent service and reasonable prices! Pros: Reasonable prices, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, great cut and color! Cons: I'm moving soon and will not be able to get back on a regular basis :( more

Great salon, fabulous stylist! 7/5/2008

I just left the salon and came straight home to write a well deserved review of Jessica and Salon Plush! Jessica is their newest addition, and I was more than impressed with her professionalism and her kind attitude. She knew everything I wanted, and more - she is a natural! I knew exactly what I was getting before she started, which is something that I rarely have come by in my ten years of living in Los Angeles. Not only is my color radiant, she gave me a stylish, fresh, new hair cut that I adore. I was relieved that there was lots of parking in the back, and they offer drinks...beer and wine included! I am most definitely going to Jessica at Salon Plush on a regular basis, and you should too! Pros: Everything from parking to reception staff! Cons: None! more

Jessica is very in touch with what I am looking for when I get my hair done. Having naturally curly hair, I can't say it has been easy for me to find such quality service and work as I find with her. She is friendly and patient, and has always made my hair look awesome whether it be color,cut or stlye. I have found my regular stylist and I highly recommend her service! more

Amazing service, Amazing results 5/1/2008

I first went to Salon Plush with a hair color emergency and Vivian saw me immediately and saved me. (literally, my hair had been turned bright orange) I have been going to see her loyally for the past two and a half years. Everyone there is so nice and warm- such a pleasure. Vivian and I had been talking about hair extensions for about a year and I finally went for it. It has been such a wonderful experience. She was such a pro and once again did a great service for me. I have been to the Beverly Hills salons in the past and was never satisfied and never got the personal feel that Salon Plush has. I have friends who also see Vivian and I know they feel the same way. This is truly a one of a kind salon! more

Best hair Salon on west side 3/13/2008

Salon Plush is a very cute and beautifully decorated Hair Salon. I live in the Valley but drive all the way there because it's worth it.. Janet is a pro at hair coloring and cutting. The aesthetician, Elizabeth is amazing. Best quick painless bikini waxes. The staff is very friendly and am always greeted warmly and offered something to drink as soon as I get there. Parking is available in the back.\r more

No one else touches my hair! 3/3/2008

Janet has been cutting my hair for 6 or 7 years and I've followed her from salon to salon. She and Viv did a great job of setting up Plush. Great environment, good music, and I'm always offered something to drink when I get in. I have no qualms sending friends in 'cause she makes me look GOOD! Always Completely Satisfied 2/27/2008

Salon Plush is a real treat. Every time I arrive for an appointment I am always pleasantly surprised with the kind reception I receive. I am immediately asked what I would like to drink water or ... perhaps a glass of champagne or wine. I live in Santa Monica and there are several high-end Spas in my area that I have been to, but I prefer making the short travel to Salon Plush. The aesthetician, Elizabeth is amazing. She's a pro ... her attention to detail for eyebrow shaping, leg and bikini waxing ... is impeccable. I am always completely satisfied. Pros: Ambience is great ... Cons: Could be hard to see sign from the road. more
