Best Service Hair Salon 12/11/2007

This was the best experience I've had with a hair stylist! When I walked into Salon Picasso, it was very festive with Christmas decor and very prompt and friendly staff. My stylist was Tatiana. When I thought about the type of hair style I wanted, I really didn't know how to describe it. I had this Morticia style going on so Tatiana offered some very helpful suggestions. When she washed my hair, she massaged my scalp and told me the products she was using and why. When she was done with my hair, it was EXACTLY what I had pictured in my mind! It was amazing! It was a reasonable price and I've already made my next appointment! Pros: Discounts, experienced staff, comfortable atmosphere more

Great place 10/8/2007

I would recommend Salon Picasso to any and everyone I can. I received great service from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. The receptionist was awesome, greeting me warmly and offering me a drink, taking my jacket and promptly telling my stylist I was waiting. My stylists came to get me, sat me in the chair and asked me what I wanted to have done. He listened intently, offered suggestions to maximize my hair type to the style I wanted and then proceeded to shampoo and cut. He blew dried my hair while explaining how he did it so I could do it at home. I was then checked out and not once did I feel pressured into buying product. My hair looks great and I have received many compliments on it. I will go back again and again. Pros: professional and there is a coupon more

Salon Picasso is the best salon in the area, Professional Hair Tech's, who seem to really care about how you look, and listen to what you say. They work very hard and are not happy unless you are. Pros: Very Professional more

Best hair cut I've ever had 8/15/2007

This was an awesome experience. I've been wanting to try a new salon for a while, and wanted a place that had a fresh, trendy vibe. I talked to a hairstylist about how I wanted a new look, and she was very helpful from the first moment. She asked me to bring in some pictures of what I would like, and she cut my hair exactly like my favorite picture. I travel out to LA a lot, and it was amazing. She taught me how to style it while I was at the appointment. I've gone back many times, and haven't been steered wrong. I highly recommend this competent and fun salon! Pros: knowedgable, friendly and skilled staff Cons: a little pricey, but worth it more

Found a Great Haircolorist!! 8/9/2007

I visited Salon Picasso for the first time and it was such a great experience.The salon is very clean, and very hip. When I walked in, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and they offered me a beverage while I waited! I felt pampered already! My stylist was friendly and after having some interesting haircolor experiences, I found out that she was an American Board Certified Haircolorist, and my highlights were amazing! Jennefer really listened, was very thorough, and I felt she really knew her stuff. After a few days, I received a Thank You card in the mail from her, and it was nice to have someone remember things about me! I would highly recommend her to my friends and look forward to my next visit. Pros: Look and feel of salon; quality of service from my stylist more

Great Salon 8/8/2007

Salon Picasso is a wonderful full service salon. The atmosphere is very warm, the staff is friendly, and you can enjoy a wide variety of beverages while you are being pampered. All of the equipment is top notch and comfy. There is also a large selection of hair products you may purchase, but you will never feel like you are obligated to buy anything. I've been a client of my stylist for 8 years, and have followed him from the previous lo cation. He is excellent at cuts and color ( his name is Christopher if you are interested). You can't go wrong with Salon Picasso! more

Love it, love it, love it! 8/4/2007

I went in for multiple services (waxing, pedicure and cut/color) and had a wonderful time. From start to finish the service was great, the atmosphere relaxing and the result was beautiful. When I walked in, the receptionist greeted me warmly, offered me a drink and notified the esthetician (waxer) I was there. The transition from waxing to pedicure to hair stylist was seamless and professional. Everyone was friendly and I felt like I was their only client all day, even though it was busy. I will definately be going back and telling all my friends! Pros: They offer a coupon, staff is professional and it is a beautiful atmosphere more

Poor service, terrible cut 8/2/2007

I was extremely disappointed by the service in this salon. First, they messed up my appointment time and I ended up waiting for over 30 min. Then the stylist I was booked with wasn't available. I think I spent well over 3 hours there for cut and color. The colorist would disappear for a while and I just waited and waited. I realize that color takes time but this seemed excessive. Toward the end she said - oh, you wanted a haircut too?? She rushed thru the cut, didn?t really do much - just gave me a little trim. This was the worst haircut ever. The color was nice. I spent over $100 and a lot of time and wasn?t really thrilled with the result. I definitely won?t be back. more

Love the do! 7/27/2007

Friendly staff and professional environment. Stylist had a great idea for a new hair style. I loved the modern cut and great style. Most places I've gone (including Antoine Du Chez) don't style my hair the way I would go out in public, but the stylist here did great! Good job at eyebrow waxing too for a very reasonable price. Finally, a Salon with talented hair professionals! 7/27/2007

After moving to Denver over a year ago and trying many, many salons, I discover Salon Picasso and a hair professional who can cut and style my baby fine hair! The environment is very comfortable, the staff very friendly. The two appointments I have had at the Salon have been handled on time, which is very important to me. the hip place to cut your hair! 7/26/2007

i tried the salon for the first time today and was really impressed with the whole experience. From the minute i walked in the door and they offered me a beverage till the styling and blowdrying after my cut. I thought the place was very hip and fresh looking and the music really put me at ease! i love my nw hair stlye and my stylists also taught me a few tips to keep my hair looking gorgeous. From my experience i do not quite understadn the negative review below mine. I was relaxed and thought everything was xtremely high quality. more

May as well go to Great Clips 7/18/2007

Definitely not an upscale or even midscale salon. If you are looking for a great haircut and to be pampered, this is not the place to go. I am used to going to fabulous stylists who obviously love what they do and show it. Here I received a Great Clips cut, no product in my hair and the stylist asked me if I would like to have my hair styled. Of course I would, but what I received was not even a great blowdry. The stylist seemed bored, unenthused and in a hurry to finish up. Don't walk into this place with high expectations or you will be sure to be disappointed.
