i have had hair problems since i was young. my hair has always grown too fast, thick, frizzy, and curly. then i met moe, not only does she cut my hair when ever it needs it (every two or three weeks) with great styles, ect. but she also gives me great tips on how to make it look better. she gives me names of shampoos and conditioners that will help me wtih my beastly mop on my head. and when she is cutting your hair she actually brings a REAL personality. not that fake stuff you get at a cheap place. monique is great plain and simple\r -ethan Pros: mostly everything Cons: doesnt work fridays more

Moniqe is great!!!!! 11/2/2009

I started going to Moniqe after being referred by a friend. I usually go to a cheapo cuts and only pay $15 with the tip but my friend swore by this lady so I thought I would spend the extra cash.\r \r Moniqe pampered me and the way we talked felt like we were old friends. I never get service like that at the other places I have gone. Also my girlfriend actually complimented my hair when I got home (which never happens). I am bringing her to Moniqe next month!!!\r \r Oh yeah I almost forgot when I was leaving Moniqe said she does free trims to the ear and neck line between haircuts to keep you looking good from one cut to the next. I have never been offered that before. Pros: Her laugh will brighten any day Cons: I only get one cut every four weeks more

Overpriced, terrible service 9/3/2009

Stylists are fake and don't even know anything about their products besides that they are ""great."" Tell me the science behind it! They don't treat me like a high end salon should treat their clients. They don't offer personalized service and whoever answers their phones needs to learn how to act more customer friendly. There is nothing special about this salon. Even the reviews on this site sound fake. I am sure that they are posting all of these ""positive"" reviews themselves or they are getting their friends and families to post them. Pros: trax location Cons: terrible service more

I have been a client of Brittney's for a year now and everytime i go to salon O to see her she has the most bubbly personality...not only that but she is great at what she does, i always walk away happy! more

Kennedy Changed My Life 9/2/2009

I had been to every big name salon in SLC (think Lunatic, Landis, RZ, Forum), and I never left totally happy. Just when I thought all hope was lost I stopped by Salon O getting off the trax and found Kennedy. She has done my hair for the last year, and I have left beaming everytime. The last time she did my hair was June and I am still getting compliments on the cut and color. She is cool, professional, very friendly and really knows her stuff, I can generally give her some vague description of hair I like and she creates a masterpiece. I love Kennedy! Pros: great knowledge of hair, and very easy to talk to more

I followed Bethany to Salon O from her first salon in Kaysville. I can always trust her to give me a great hair cut, even if I don't know what I want. She is so nice and fun to talk to. I won't let anyone else cut my hair for as long as I can help it! Pros: never had a bad cut more

Fantastic: Salon O 8/26/2009

I have been seeing Derek for a while and I refuse to go anywhere else, He always cuts my hair better than I expect. He has a really amazing scalp massage, and on my worst days he always has this way of making me feel better and look better. I would go far out of my way to see Derek over anyone else. I spent too many years paying a lot of money for haircuts I never loved, until I met Derek! Every time he cuts my hair, (at VERY reasonable rates), I am overjoyed with how fresh and fun my hair looks. I always get exactly what I've asked for, or when I give him free reign I'm usually even more pleased. Plus, he's a great conversationalist and easy on the eyes! Beth is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Not only that she is one of the best stylist in town. She is so helpful when you show up and have no idea what you want. Hair Coloring Specialist-Bethany 8/21/2009

Everywhere I go, people comment on how young I look. I am amazed that my hair coloring would make such a difference, but I know that is what it is. It has been such a nice change from my previous stylist coloring. Bethany thanks for giving me such natural looking hair color. It has taken years off of my look. And you are so nice! Thanks! more

I have been going to Bethany for my hair needs since she started working at Salon O. I think I have difficult hair to work with, but she always gives me a great cut and I love the color. Whether I go in for a short cut or just a trim, I walk away very pleased with the results. I also am very impressed with the friendly atmosphere at Salon O. more

Bethany might just be the best stylist i have ever had do my hair. that scalp massage and eyebrow wax make me feel like a million dollars. She is intelligent, funny, witty and a great host. i wish i was rich, so i could hire her as my full time stylist. Go see her and you will leave happy with the results. Pros: Best stylist around more

kevin snow is the best! 8/21/2009

kevin is by far the hair color expert! he made me the blondest girl in salt lake :) if you want to be blonde i highly recommend him! and salon o has other great services their waxing is the best they use the highest quality wax. also they have a lady doing sugaring which is even better then waxing for areas like bikini, and underarms. my favorite salon in utah by far! and reasonably priced more

Nobody but Kevin touches my hair! 8/21/2009

Kevin has been my hairstylist for some time now, and quite frankly, I will never let anyone else near my head again. His ability to blend colors is amazing! Whether I feel like going more bold and funky or blending in more to my natural regrowth, Kevin manages to get the perfect outcome everytime. And the cuts!! He is literally the only person I've ever worked with to be able to take an idea of mine and bring into existence something even better than my own imagination. I have never left his chair without an enormous grin on my face and fierce hair to match! more

Kolby is a genius! 8/20/2009

I've been going to Kolby for a LONG time, and I have never walked away disappointed. Kolby is a master at the stylish coif, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone. In fact, I already do because he is a genius at coloring. I've been every color in the spectrum thanks to Kolby, and I've loved every one of them. The best part is, I can tell Kolby to do whatever he wants to my hair because I know it will be sexxy in salt lake city. Ask for him, love him, love your hair. more

So IMPRESSED! 8/17/2009

I have never been so happy with a cut! Kolby really listened to what I wanted presently for the cut, and what my plans were for the future. I've never had a stylist listen and actually do what I wanted- AND have it come out a million times better than I expected! Not to mention the compliments I've been getting from people I do not even know! The best part is that he cut it so I can handle it, now I feel like I've walked out of the Salon, feeling great, everyday!! Thanks KOLBY! I'll definitely be recommending you to everyone I know!! more
