I went to Salon O for the first time this weekend and had a fantastic experience. I moved from Portland two years ago and until now haven't been able to find a stylist that gets me and my hair. Kat took the time to discuss my hair type, what color I wanted, and style ideas. She really nailed it. I went to a BBQ later that afternoon and received tons of compliments. Kat is also very personable and made me feel comfortable from the start. I have worked in retail for many years so I am a stickler for good customer service. I had pretty long hair, and I was nervous to go short. But I was definitely in good hands. Kevin gave me a rockin' A-line haircut. And I let him be creative with the color. He chose some awesome coppers and auburns that went great with my skin. I absolutely love it. Pros: Great color, service, and style. more

I know this sounds corny, but there is nothing bad about Salon O. The owner/operator, Falecia, is a fantastic stylist and great business person. I love that the atmosphere in that place. They bring you something to drink and make you feel really comfortable. Kevin Snow does my hair and he is always honest with me about what will look good and what will not. I always walk away looking amazing and feeling confident. There really aren't many other places in Utah where I trust the stylists to give me a hair style that fits me. Pros: Best dye job I have ever gotten Cons: None I've noticed so far more

Ever since Kitty started doing my hair extensions I have little or no maintenance and long, lush, thick hair. Amazing.....is what I have to say - the beauty of extensions without the hassle - finally!!!! In the past I have worn pretty much every other type of extensions - sew in, glue in weft, glue in strand/strand, clip in....you name it. Although they were beautiful, they were so much work and hassle. The bonds would typically show if my hair was in a ponytail, or they would be a tangled mess after 2 months, the list goes on. Now, I have Kitty do my extensions every 4-6 months and I do nothing different when styling or washing my hair. It is truly as if I don't have extensions in at all. The bonds are so small that even whey they are grown out, they are virtually invisible. Another benefit is how the special glue bonds are really gentle on my hair, my hair is in better condition now than every before. After my other extensions were removed, my hair was thrashed and broken. Now my hair is totally protected and the extensions come out within minutes. This is critical especially if you are growing your hair out. Also, the hair is such amazing quality they never tangle or look frizzy. Another huge benefit is that they don't fall out or shed. With my other extensions, I would lose at least several hand fulls of hair every time I washed and styled - not to mention all of the hair all over my house! I feel like I have died and gone to heaven - I only wish that I would have found Kitty sooner (she was in California...) But, the good news is she is here in Utah now, and you can get the best of all worlds with completely hassle free extensions. Go see Kitty today - you deserve it!! Sarah Jane has been cutting and coloring my hair for 5 years and I couldn't live without her! The color treatment she does on my hair is the best I've ever had, and it certainly keeps me coming back. After getting my hair done with Sarah Jane I always receive compliments which is praise to Sarah Jane's cutting style. After so many years, I still love catching up and chatting with Sarah while sitting in the chair. She gives the best and most relaxing scalp massage - I don't know what I'd do without her. The only drawback I have is that you must be heading west on 400 South to enter Salon O's parking - but I'll do a u-turn to get to Sarah Jane any day! I love, love, LOVE, having Sarah Jane at Salon O do my hair. I first started going to her when she was at Landis and have followed her to her new home at Salon O. Sarah Jane has taken me from long and sleek to shorter and sassy and back to long again (and lighter)! People started telling me that my hair looked great when I started going to Sarah Jane, even weeks after I had seen her. I was not born with a naturally gorgeous mane, but Sarah Jane makes me look like I was!! My visits with her are always fun and informative! And Salon O is a funky, laid back place to hang out while you’re processing! Pros: Always happy with results. Cons: none. more

Kitty Bunker is my favorite new stylist at Salon O. I followed her from another salon. But really, all the gals are hip with the trends and they are into making you look great with the right cut, color and style, not weird or stuck in the 90's. These gals know their stuff and it's a fun, talkative, vibrant salon. Pros: Really hip stylists who make you look amazing Cons: Parking can be tricky to find. Hint, head to the back. more

Ann and Kennedy are an amazing team. Each brings their innate ability to assess and create, respectively. Without hesitation, I state they are masters in their field. I should keep them a secret; keep them to myself, but, I can't everyone deserves to be as happy as I am. more

Ann has such great energy and I love seeing her every few weeks so she can whip me back into style. Who knew that geting your hair cut could be so much fun. She is a true master is the relm of hair cuts and product knowledge. I would recommend her and the salon to anyone. more

Salon O presents a fantastically chic environment that one cannot help but be charmed by. It is run very professionaly and efficiently but will also guarantee personal service. It is always a pleasure to have my hair done here, not to mention all of the compliments I recieve between appointments. I have my hair and eyebrows done by Ann, she, as an example and comparison to the rest of the fine staff, consistently gives me exactly what I am looking for to maintain, update, or improve my look. I use to get anxiety every time I went to get my haircut but since I have gone to Ann all I can do is smile. She always keeps my hair up to date and I only feel comfortable with her doing my hair. I was referred to Kennedy at Salon O by a friend. Kennedy is a very talented stylist, and the salon is great. My old salon was also downtown, but I was required to find a parking spot on the street, or in a gigantic parking garage. Parking at Salon O is a snap, as a result, I don't enter the salon already frazzled. The staff at Salon O is friendly and inviting, and the atmosphere is relaxing.
