The talent at this shop does not warrent the high prices. 4/11/2007

The prices at this shop are quite high and I was disappointed in my cut. I had to return for a correction. These things happen but shouldn't when the price is $50+. Try J. Jetson just down the street or Ginos in Harvard Square. more

I like this place 5/20/2006

It's nice and unpretencious. And the haircuts are not that expensive as compared to judy's jetsons which is filled with a-holes and charge you up the wall. But I'll bitch about j. jetsons in their own review. You'll find the staff pleasant and nice. They give great haircuts too. more

Nice place, but not the best haircut 3/21/2006

As we all know it isn't easy to rate a salon since not every stylist is the same. I went to salon luna after reading both bad and good reviews, but decided I'd give it a try. Everyone there is very nice and the location is very convenient, but the haircut I received was less than perfect. I actually actually ended up coming back the next day to get more trimmed off the back and they were very nice about it. After coming back the second time, my hair look a lot better (a bit uneven in the back), but for $50, I expect more. more

3 great hair stylists 8/3/2005

I was advised to go to Salon Luna by a friend who always has great hair, only to find out that half my grad school classmates (with varying types of hair and styles) also go there and love it. I went there 4 times before moving away from Boston, and each time came out very pleased. I have to say that Jen (got 2 cuts with her) is probably the best- she always gave my hair a nice extra touch. But her fiance Andy and their co-worker Ephraim are also very good, judging by the cut I got from each of them. The basic cut is $45, and the salon is conveniently located right across from the Porter T stop. more
