Great experience 2/26/2011

This was my first visit to Salon Laura Michaels and I left the salon with the best feeling. My appt was with Kerri. She was awesome. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me exactly what I wanted/needed in a hair cut. The receptionist was very welcoming. The salon is beautiful inside. Love it. I'll definitely be back. more

As Michael said...I found my new home! 1/30/2011

Needing someone to save my hair from the worst color job I have ever had, I started to search CitySearch. I stumbled upon Laura Michaels Salon. The reviews were great and seemed genuine so I called the salon. I made an appointment with Michael for a consultation and he came up with a plan to get my hair back to a shade I could live with and love. The following day I went in for my appointment. Michael was wonderful as was everyone else in the salon. He took his time and answered all of my questions as to how we were going to fix my hair. The process to get my hair back will take awhile but I am confident that Michael is the person to get me there. It already looks better! I look forward to a long relationship with Salon Laura Michaels, me and my hair! more

Love the Keratin treatment! 12/22/2010

When it comes to hair, I've pretty much done it all. So it's not shocking that I decided to do one of the latest fads in hair care - Keratin hair treatment. I have thick long hair that gets a bit fizzy in the humidity and if I don't blow dry it all the way forget it. I tend to use a flat iron almost every day. So when Michael recommended this treatment I figured why not?! more

I have had enough bad haircuts in my life to be nervous most times I walk into a salon. I read the reviews and got enough good feedback that I decided to see give the salon a try, I saw Heather. I brought a picture in which she appreciated and she took the time to really talk to me about my hair and what I wanted. I felt like I was in good hands and pleased with the outcome of my haircut. I do believe you never know if you have a great haircut until you style it yourself and I must say she did and outstanding job! Thanks Heather for your time, expertise and friendliness. more

I would highly recommend Salon Laura Michael's!!! Michael is great!!! He always gives me the best hair cuts and color , I am always being asked where I have my hair done. My mother has been seeing Heather and she does an outstanding job on her hair also! Everyone at the salon is so friendly and they have great prices. more

I tried Salon Laura Michael's after reading the great reviews...and I'm so glad I did. I've done Newbury St. and am used to paying an arm and a leg for cute hair cut but because I keep my cuts on the shorter side and get it highlighted every few months, it wasn't practical. Heather is AWESOME! I have received so many compliments on the highlights and cut she gave me . I can't recommend her highly enough. She is truly outstanding and prices are very, very reasonable. New Keratin Treatment is Excellent! 6/21/2010

Michael did my Keratin treatment and he did an excellent job. I cannot even believe that this is my hair, it's never looked or felt so soft and shiny and easy to manage. I always dreaded humid summer weather because of how frizzy my coarse, curly hair would get, but now there is literally no frizz whatsoever. And it takes half the amount of time to blow dry it. The great thing is, it's not stick straight, but still has body and wave (but alot less wave). If I want it straight, it's a snap to blow dry it. The best part is that there were no toxic chemicals involved in the process. I am really thrilled! Pros: My hair is completely de-frizzed and soft as silk Cons: Can't wash your hair for 3 days after the treatment. more

I was tired of my old stylist not giving me any new suggestions so I looked up some salons and ended up at Salon Laura Michael's since it has such great reviews. This salon was cool,relaxing and affordable. The staff made me feel totally comfortable. Pros: prices, skills, great staff more

It Doesn't Get Any Better!!! 11/12/2009

I have been getting my haircut in Boston for about 10 years with great cuts, but lacking convenience for traveling since I moved to Wilmington, MA. I read all the great reviews about Salon Laura Michaels and decided to give it a try. I had an appointment set up with Cindy. I never left a salon so satisfied in my life! I told her to do what she wanted as she was the expert, and she gave me the best haircut I ever had! I can't wait to go back and get some highlights from her. She is simply the best with such a wonderful down to earth personality. I can't thank her enough. Will never go elsewhere!! Thank You Salon Laura Michaels!! You deserve the Best of Boston Award!! Best Salon in the area .. Salon Laura Michaels is the best .. I have been going there for just over a year now and I just love it .. my hair always comes out fantastic I have been seeing Kerri and I saw Michael while she was out after giving birth but she is back now and they are both fantastic, so up to date on the latest syles and colors ... she also does GREAT eyebrows! She always gives me the best hair cut and color, I have changed my color and style a few times just for a change and it always looks FANTASTIC!!! Stay away from this salon1 8/26/2009

I went to this salon as a treat for myself, they had great reviews so I thought that it was a good place to start since I had just moved in the area. I said that I had wanted multiple tones of haircolor in my hair and my stylist disagreed after walking into the back room to see the dyes that were availible, so I agreed with her judgement... well the color was WAY to light and almost bleached my hair color. Next was the cut... what she was doing is beyond me because she randomly cut strands of hair and left me with the worst cut I had ever had. I was in the salon for 2 hours and hated my hair, she knew and offered me to come back to get it fixed- WHY WOULD I GO BACK? STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! Laura is the best! 8/12/2009

I pass the Laura Michael`s everyday and finally decided to give it a try after I read the online reviews. Wow! What a breath of fresh air and ray of sunshine!! I am a busy mother of 5 and sometimes have no me time ... However, when I am at Laura Michaels I am treated like royalty and I leave feeling on top of the world. Laura cuts and colors my hair and she is the best . She listens to what you want and works with you. :-) also my eyebrows were getting out of control but since I have been having them done at Laura Michaels they look healthy and well groomed!! My bottom line would have to be that Laura Michael`s prices are amazingly easy on the pocketbook, their staff is professional; artistic, and above all so very friendly, sweet and welcoming. Amazing! 7/30/2009

Just visited this salon for the first time and saw Jared and loved it! He gave me a great cut, and really listens to what you want while making suggestions of his own! The products are awesome, and the place is so clean and chic with plenty of parking! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and comfortable...especially Terry who helped me find the right styist for me! The prices are great for the quality of service received! My friend has been a long time customer and I'm so happy she reccomended this salon to me! Overall a great experience and I will definately be back to see Jared again!
