Loved loved loved it. I have been going to the same stylist for four years and just wanted to try something closer to my home. Liz was so nice, actually looked at my hair before just cutting and definately listened to me and my opinions and desires for my hair. I will definately be going back and would recommend it to anyone! more

I was so unhappy with my hair, I wanted a change. My hair was blonde/light brown with red and black streaks, medium length, it was so dried out and damaged. I was thinking of getting a perm and bleaching it! (yeah I know) Well two weekends ago I walked into the boutique, a nice soft spoken gentleman greeted me, ( I didn't realize it was Joshua the owner) I told him my great idea and thank god for his honesty he saved me from ruining my hair even more. He took the time to expain to me the damage that I already had and what he would recomend, he never tried to push his idea on me like I had at other places. He ran some ideas by me to see what I thought. I decided to go with one of his ideas, I felt so comfortable with him, I felt like I could trust him. The whole time he was sweet and gentle, he talked me through every step explaing the different types of cuts, the proper way to wash and condition hair, how to style, and he even shared secret techniques. I felt so pampered. After he was done I looked in the mirror and I was so happy, I didn't realize how pretty I am. My hair is a dark brown with carmel high lights and above my shoulders like a bob. My blue eyes totaly stand out now. I feel like a totally different person, it gave me the confidence I needed, I have had so many complements on my hair. Ask to see my before and after! My daughter has prom coming up and she was very excited to try this new salon in Queen Creek (there's not many new salons here yet) and I promised her that if she got good grades I would spend the extra money to get her in for her hair and makeup. I came to citysearch like I often do to find a phone number and an occasional review. I was of course not expecting reviews, as to my knowledge it had just opened a few weeks ago. Needless to say, I was shocked by all of the obvious self promotion. I think the most suprising were the comments about a neighboring salon that I have been going to for quite some time. That is not a good way to build a business in our town. Do these employees or owners really think that people are going to believe that every customer is going to write these long positive reviews detailing every aspect of this business. My husband has owned a business in QC for 7 years and has never had a review and was just as disappointed as I was when I made him come read all these. He has some good advice for the authors, let your customer service and work speak for itself and don't appear to desperate. No doubt there will be a rave "review" to challenge my honest one, but I hope people in QC will see through these advertisements. It is sad that people are taking advantage of websites like these that give customers an opportunity to voice their opinions. Pros: I'll never know more

First of all, I was super excited that it was right around the corner from my home in queen creek. Secondly, the atmosphere, even when i went it wasn't fully done, was awesome, just like a high class ritzy Scottsdale salon and boutique.Even better, i saw a friendly face. The stylist that was scheduled to do my hair also i see daily at the new Glitz Tanning Salon that i goto in the same plaza. Liz did an amazing job on my hair better than any other.... she helped show me how to style it how she did, and listened to me when i gave her ideas of what i wanted and it was above and beyond my expectations. and above all for such a nice place with great service, the prices aren't outrageous either. a bonus when she washed my hair i got a mini neck and scalp massage which was amazing. i want to go back everyday and have her do just that if i could afford it!! i met Joshua as well as another stylist and they were all so friendly and the experience was pleasurable to say the least. it was relaxing yet fast compared so some places that keep you in awkward positions for long periods of time and seem like they don't know what they're doing. at salon Joshua this is never a problem. anyway i doubt that i will ever go anywhere else for my hair care needs as long as salon Joshua boutique remains open and amazing! I would recommend this salon to anyone! The staff was friendly and you get a detailed consulatation before your haircut. They are very professional and are very good at what they do. They know what type of haircut and what length suits you best so ig you're not sure what you want they will give you their professional and knowledgable opinions. I got the best haircut and was treated very well. Better than anywhere else I have ever been to get a haircut. I will defintely be going back here. more

Joshua is such a kind, caring individual-who happens to do great hair! He gives advice yet listens intently to what you have to say. The salon is very comfortable and trendy--it's definitely a one stop shop. Also, Joshua lets his work speak for itself, he doesn't feel the need to pressure you into anything. I moved here from NJ 6 years ago and I just now finally got the greatest hair cut ever. Joshua's Salon will no doubt be a great success so call ahead for an appointment!! Your treated like family and he makes you feel special. No one else will be cutting my hair anymore......and I live almost right across the street. I've bee coming to Joshua McRae for years! I first found him at mane attraction then he had let me know that he was opening a salon and I had fallen out of touch with him. I started googling salons because mane attraction wasn't the same without him and his salon came up and I have to say it turned out great.. He did all the construction of it painting everything.. besides everything thing he still does great hair and listens to what you want and then offer's some advice.. I'm so happy to have found him, and the only bad comment on this site doesn't even sound like they even got there hair done here. salon Joshua is just ok. These types of salon's are on every corner in the phoenix area. So its hard to tell if your going to get a great color. So I took my chance on the so called newest greatest salon in Queencreek. In short I will never go back. more

What can I say, words cannot describe the skill that Joshua has! From teaching, to technique to styling and more, he has great talent. My entire experience was nothing short of fabulous. It is so great that this salon is so close to home, finally Queen Creek has its first "real" salon. I left the salon feeling very satisified and impressed with my new look. Like every other woman in Queen Creek I couldn't wait to make an appointment at Salon Joshua. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. The salon is very modern and welcoming. As soon as I sat down in my chair and started to discuss what I was looking for with Joshua I knew I found the perfect stylist for me. He listened to my wants and desires and made suggestions based on his extensive experience. During my transformation he educated me about the benefits of salon products and how they differ from store brands. He took his time creating my new hair style and we had great conversation along the way. He explained how to style my hair and then actually showed me how to do it myself. The salon has great programs that reward you for referring friends and family. They also have a bonus system that rewards you based on the amount of money you've spent - something very unique to Joshua's salon (and a great idea)! I am highly recommending Salon Joshua to all my friends, family, neighbors and everyone else that will listen. You won't want to go anywhere else after going to Joshua's! I have been waiting months for Salon Joshua to open. I have been driving into Mesa for the past 3 years since I moved to Queen Creek. It was such a hassle to turn a 45 minute hair cut into a whole days worth of planning. When I finally realized Salon Joshua was open I went in to get a price list and to check out the salon....it is so super nice inside. Unlike any salon I've ever been in, with a second level and a boutique that wraps around the stairs. The salon is very modern, and so is the hair they do! My stylist, Liz was very good at helping me create a new style for me! I walked out happier with my haircut than I have ever walked out of a salon....and get this, I can actually style it the way she did! Awesome! Thanks Liz! Pros: Super close to home! I just checked into this site to post a review about a different business and was suprised by the negative reviews being written about Salon Joshua. Yes, they moved.....so what? I am still going to Cassie, because she does a great job on my hair and she is fun to talk with. They have done a great job turning their new space into a salon. Joshua is right, the economic situation has made it difficult for businesses today. Also, in another review, someone made an assumption that one of the salon workers made a harsh review about another salon in Queen Creek. I can tell you that I was the one with the harsh review for that other salon. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through it! In addition, to those of you who say that Joshua is bribing his clients to make great reviews, that's absurd. He is using a great marketing technique. If clients didn't like the haircut or experience then I don't think that 10% off their next appointment would sway them to lie! He never once asked me to do anything except visit the site and write about my experience. I really hope that this business succeeds! I've been waiting to try salon joshua and have been waiting for it to be done. I don't know how many times I've driven by hoping it was done. I was hoping to get my hair done first but one of my friends beat me to it and told me she loved it. So that made me feel even better about trying it out. She saw the owner joshua and I was hoping too as well but he didn't have any appointments, Johnny who is I guess a asst. which I never knew salon's had and he explain to me that he was in a training program to become a stylist here. Wow the fact that they have to go through more training outside what they had already done was cool. He talked me into seeing Liz who did a great job and grave me a great detailed consultation about what would look best for me. My hair turned out great the service was awesome and I'm so happy that Queen Creek finally has a salon that compares to other high in salons. Pros: great service Cons: none more

I've been waiting for a nice up scale fun salon to come to queen creek.. It's been so hard having to drive to scottsdale and fight traffic and time that's wasted as well. When I walked in I immediately loved the salon and how it was put together. The chairs were space far apart from each other a fish tank in the counter and a great relaxing, inviting environment. I saw joshua who is the owner and built the salon. He came from the number one salon in phoenix mane attraction and did a great job with my hair.. girls wait no more salon joshua boutique is a great salon and to make it better they are going to receive their clothes in a couple of months!
