Salon Joseph is a fervently adored salon serving some of Seattle's best-tressed. The staff is experienced, responsive to client requests, and highly talented. The atmosphere friendly and congenial. I've been able to make several last-minute appointments, and I've vowed to take Anna with me if I ever appear on an awards show. When she was having her baby, Joseph gave me an amazing cut in her stead. Whether blown out or curly, I've always loved the style, shape and cut I've gotten at Salon Joseph, and receive countless compliments, as icing on the cake. Styling products are available for purchase at fabulous prices, as well. Since finding this gem, I've never once thought of going anywhere else, and you won't either. I started going to Joseph of Salon Joseph in 1997 and was so impressed with his work that for the next 8 years I didn't go anywhere else. In November of 2005 I relocated to Minneapolis, MN due to work and was very worried about finding a new stylist with the natural vision and skills that Joseph possesed. After trying several top notch salons here in Minneapolis, to no avail, I made the decision that I would fly back to Seattle everything three months to have my hair cut and colored by the Master!! In September of this year I made my first trip back to Seattle and it was worth EVERY PENNY. If you live in Seattle you would be crazy to go anywhere else - Joseph and his team are the BEST (not just in Washington - I promise). I first visited Salon Joseph this spring; Travis did a fine job maintaining the haircut I had gotten at another salon, but when I told him I wanted something new, he jumped at the chance -- and I jumped in excitement when I saw the results. We went short (!), yet Travis kept it soft and feminine, and cut it in such a way that it looks like I have twice the hair. He used a new color brush technique, which gives my hair a lighter, more natural feel than foils. What's more, I hardly have to do a thing to maintain this style. Plus, Travis has a fun, easy going manner -- as does the overall salon -- and he has great taste in music! more

Salon Joseph is the best place to get your hair done. Their stylists are friendly, professional and best of all, ON TIME. The atmosphere is upbeat and clean, no officious odors (nail products, etc), with a friendly reception staff that recognizes you and caters to your needs. Competitive prices for the services received and not a snob in the bunch. My old stylist did not listen to me and kept giveing me the cut she wanted me to have. Just one visit to Salon Joseph and I had a cut and color I loved and have been getting complements ever since. You'll never go anywhere else once you've tried Salon Joseph. Salon Joseph has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. You aren't intimidated when you walk in the door--and you can trust they will listen to your wants and needs but also offer great suggestions. I have been going to Joseph at Salon Joseph for many years. I am saddened to read the one negative review by stanleysteamer. Greedy? It sounds like she has an alternative agenda. Joseph is the most caring, professional hairdresser I have ever had. He is THE BEST. Everyone at Salon Joseph is friendly and professional. I always look forward to my visits there. I have been very happily spinning in that chaotic bliss called marriage for 10 years. A year before we married, my wife's divine hair stylist moved away. FOR 10 YEARS SHE HAS BEEN UNHAPPY with her stylists. That is until she met Travis at Salon Joseph. She has grieved over those years for the lack of imagination her stylists have displayed, but not anymore! Just like old times, Travis has stepped up the to challenge to give her something interesting and different every time she steps in the door at Salon Joseph. I LOVE IT! She comes home more beautiful than ever (if that were possible) and completely content! THANK YOU, SALON JOSEPH and TRAVIS FOR SAVING MY LIFE!!! Hooray!! I went to see Travis at Salon Joseph upon recommendation from a co-worker- he now does most of my colleagues hair-and had a wonderful experience!! He took the time to discuss what I was looking for, and made great recommendations, and boy, does he have a knack for color!! I was thrilled with my newly revised look and went into the world a different and fresh looking woman. more
