Great style and service! My longtime stylist moved out of town, so I tried Salon Joseph on a recommendation from friends. Daniel has been doing a great job cutting and coloring my hair for just under a year now. Daniel's highlights are very natural-- I get compliments on the color all the time. I've been growing my hair out, and Daniel's given me several great haircuts that have helped my hair grow out as smoothly and quickly as possible. I've been really happy with all my visits to Salon Joseph. more

If you want a great haircut that compiments your facial features then Joe is the best-believe me because I am very picky when it comes to my hair. I plan on trying him for color but haven't got up the nerve yet. I have been going to a salon that's 45 minutes from my home because the color the person uses there on my fine hair does not weigh it down. I'll keep you updated on Joe's color.\r Liza more

If you are going to get the Brazilian Keratin treatment, why don't you get it from a Brazilian professional!?\r Aileen literally changed my life! My hair was dry, frizzy and boring. Before I met Aileen I was very against having it done to my hair. Well... after a few highlights, a haircut from Joe and an informative chat with him I felt comfortable enough to have the Brazilian Keratin done to my hair. WOW!!! There is a great stylist at Salon Joseph named Sue, and she has been styling and cutting my hair for a year. I can trust her to do whatever she desires with my hair and I always love it! I moved away from D.C area for a while and couldn't find anyone that could cut my hair like her. She is very talented and can really meet anyone's hair needs. I would highly recommend her!\r more

When i went to Salon, not only was the service great but the produts were equally as good! Clean inhanced organics, a shampoo n conditioner does wonders for my hair, i have never used anything that could make my hair feel and look this healthy! more

I received a gift certificate from my mother to go to Salon Joseph. I was a little nervous because I've been going to the same hair salon for 10 years and this was a big change for me. The employees at the salon immediately put me at ease with big smiles, and inviting manners. I had Hair Color and Cut . Joseph was m wonderful. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it, told me what results I could expect for my hair type, and was funny and personable throughout the two hour process. I've had the treatment done before and the results from my session with Joseph were the best I've seen. Between the inviting atmosphere, and the stellar results, I would recommend this salon to family, friends, and anyone who wants a great salon experience with fantastic results! more

BIG MISTAKE!!! We choose this place to have our hair done after reviewing their web site, what a BIG MISTAKE. We were in Arlington for a wedding and had made appointment for 7 people. We were quoted $40 to $50 but when the first girl was done the charge was $75, for what, no shampooing just a blow dry and the use of a curling iron OUTRAGEOUS. We asked to speak with the owner (JOSEPH) who was so RUDE that he never came over to discuss the overcharging. Being visitors from out of town you would\r think they would be friendly and hospitable, terrible business manners more

I always go in wanting a style that is just a little different & he takes the time to listen & give me what I need. he understands my lifestyle & knows how to incorporate that into hairstyle. The stylists at Salon Joseph are good, they always spend time talking to me about what i'm thinking and they are really knowledgable about their trade. You can't go wrong. more

I've been getting my hair cut and colored here for over a year and I absolutely love it! The salon itself is cute and clean, but doesn't feel overwhelming like some of the salons . A friend and I get go to JOE and love him, but I have another friend who's seen a couple of people and always had good results\r 5***** more

I have been going to Susan for almost a year and absolutely love her. Susan does an awesome job on both my color and cut - I am a very undecisive person and every time I go I just tell her to do what she thinks is ""best"" and I always come out looking and feeling GREAT! A study came out saying that a bad hair day can in fact affect a person's mood. Well I've had 4 bad hair years, so let's just say I've been feeling pretty low in the self-esteem/ attractiveness area. After moving from Boston to Baltimore, I attempted a haircut at every place here that was reviewed as wonderful and fantastic, only to find out every single place I tried was an utter disappointment. I'm pretty serious about my hair, so when I read what great reviews Salon Joseph had, I was willing to make the 1 hour drive to Arlington. I was cautiously hopeful, but after all the disappointments, my expectations were still pretty low. I brought photos of what I wanted, hoping beyond hope he might be the first stylist in a half decade who would listen to me. Sure enough, he delivered. I was shocked how fast the whole thing went (only a half hour!), but I finally got exactly what I wanted. I walked out of there for the first time feeling pretty and excited, that maybe my luck had turned around. I've had only good hair days since then, and my hair has been growing out wonderfully. Testament of a great cut. Joseph is really busy, as you can imagine, and unfortunately I ended up missing 2 appointments with him b/c of the insane DC traffic. After missing an appointment with him, I ended up cheating and trying another salon in DC to get a trim, only to end up getting yet another terrible haircut. I deserved it, that's what I get for being impatient and cheating on the best stylist I could have ever asked for. If I can ever make it to my appointments with him, I know I won't be disappointed! If you've been in my position, please please please go see him. I think your luck will turn around, and you deserve to feel pretty too!!! Pros: wonderful service and cut more

Just moved here from the midwest, found Joseph online, called to make an appointment. Almost chickened out, but so glad I didn't. Joseph did a fantastic job! He is very talented, and knows what looks good on you. He also makes sure that he talks to you about what you do with your hair, how much time you want to spend on it, etc... I will definitely be going to him while I am in VA.\r He knew what he was doing, and I think that he might be the only stylist I have ever been to who knew how to cut my hair right the FIRST time. I have fine blonde wavy hair that gets curly after the day you wash it. It baffles most stylists, but he got it right the first time, and it looks good curly or straight. And what a nice guy! A family guy who loves his wife and girls! more

Joe is an incredible talent.! My daughters and I have been going to him for many years-- even before Joe had his own salon. Both my girls make arrangements for hair appointments when they return from college and won't let anyone else style their hair. My younger daughter has blonde highlights and lowlights which look totally natural and awesome, thanks to Joe! He keeps up with the latest products and techniques.
