Salon Expressions

I found Salon Expressions last year on this very website and I am so glad I acted on the good reviews that I read! Leanne has been cutting my hair ever since that time and what I like best (besides the cut, of course) is that she listens! That's important to someone who's literally fought crazy, natural curly hair her entire life. I've moved a lot and have tried a lot of different hair stylists over the years ? some faked their way through the curls, others made them worse (one woman made me cry? I didn't get another haircut after her for two years). I occasionally found good people, but eventually either they moved away or I did, which is why I was on the hunt again last year. When I first saw Leanne last year, I'd already tried a couple of other people and I was feeling that old despair coming back, but I was happy to discover that Leanne is one of the best. She's knowledgeable, patient (a plus for clueless people like me) :-), gives great cuts and advice, and the salon is comfortable and friendly. Win, win, win... more

Yesterday I got my hair cut by Kelly. I everywhere I have gone i have not liked. She helped me with everything. I have been growing my hair out and she didn't try to get me to do anything I didn't want to. She was so nice and I felt like I had been going to her for years. I will be going back. I may want to get some color done and this is all because of her. more

I love Barbara ~ No really I mean it! I haven't been wanting to talk about it, in fear I would jinx it. I had been fighting an eye ""issue"" for 10 months when Barbara had an idea, ULTRASOUND! March 19th, Barbara preformed 3 Ultra Sound treatments on my eye in 2 days. Since that time I've had one flare up about March 23rd and my eye has actually returned to almost normal in fact it doesn't just ""cry"" for no reason anymore (as it had for the last 10 months 3 times a day). I am SOLD on Ultrasound and Barbara ~THANK YOU BARBARA you did for me what 4 doctors and 4 prescriptions could not! Man what a waste of 10 months but atleast I now have you in my tool box.......You are my HERO! more

I have been to this salon twice now since my new move to the area. Barbara is fabulous!! I would recommend her for anyone that needs a good wax for spring time. She is thorough and makes you feel very comfortable. On my first trip to the salon, Barbara took me for a tour of the place and showed me the new renovations being made. Very friendly staff make you feel comfortable from the time you arrive until the time you depart. Barbara is very cautious and sanitary which is a huge plus whenever you are picking a place for waxing to be performed. This place is must see! more

I have been a customer at Salon Expressions for over 12 years. In the last year the place has undergone a makeover of its own, it's always been a great place. But now it is downright fabulous and cool! Leanne always takes wonderful care of my hair. But I recently discovered a hidden treasure of the Salon her name is Barbara! The BEST facial ~ I have ever experienced and don't even get me started talking about her talent with wax, she is beyond compare! My husband has tried some waxing with Barbara and he thinks she has serious skills! My family celebrated my 40th Birthday at the Salon with Pedicure's and Manicure's and Tricia and Barbara took AWESOME care of us!\r \r If you are looking for a change or looking for a full service Salon or looking for a Salon that puts Customer Service as a TOP priority....check out Salon Expressions you will find it as wonderful as I do, I know the staff will NOT let you down!\r more

When I went in for a Pedi last night I had the starting of a tension headache. I was trying to ignore it until I could get home and take something for it and grab the icepack for the shoulder. I have no idea when it left me however, I did notice as I was going home I felt so good and there was no tension between the shoulders. It has been 15 hours since I was there and still no tension. If you want to truly enjoy your evening, your afternoon or even your day make this your first stop. I didn't leave last night until I made my next appointment. more

I love this salon/day spa!!! From the moment I walked in the door through the end of my services, my experience at Salon Expressions was exceptional. \r \r The expansion is amazing and the staff is so friendly and well trained. Every service I have received has been wonderful. My facial, along with a pedicure, took all the stress out of my day. \r \r I gave my sister a gift certificate and she just can't say enough good things about it. Her waxing service with Barbara was quick and almost painless. The prices are also very reasonable. \r \r more

A group of my girlfriends and I planned a pedi party at Leanne's salon and it was wonderful! The private room and excellent service created a fun and relaxing environment for our group. We loved it so much, we've set a date for our new monthly pedi party. Thanks to Leanne, Barbara, and the girls for a wonderful afternoon!! more

I visit Salon Expressions about every 8-10 weeks to get a trim. I really appreciate the time Leann takes to make sure I am happy with my hair. I recommend her to everyone I know! more

A few years ago, I was in need of a hairdresser that charged a decent price and was still good. I asked a few people and I was recommended to Leanne Peters at Salon Expressions. I called her right away and made an appointment. Ever since that first haircut, I have been back every 6 weeks for a trim! I have even had my kids' hair cut there! Leanne is awesome and is very knowledgable about what she is doing! I won't be going anywhere else for my haircare needs!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! more
