Salon Evangelene

Here's my story about this place. On my WEDDING DAY I went in with my bridal party - 9 people. We had confirmed and re confirmed appointments with the salon. On the day of they insisted that one of the girls appointment was at 8 a.m. when it was told to us it was 10:15 a.m. This in it self was a accident on their part, but they refused to give it up. The whole attitude changed after that. They then stated that one person was still scheduled when we had canceled that appointment prior to. This womens hair is a whole 3-4 inches above her shoulders, but they would not let me, the bride, leave until I paid $75 for her MISSED CANCELED appointment. The manager/owner stated this was their protocol! My mother wanted to try and save the money so she pleaded with them to give my aunt an appointment instead. They did later that morning , but my aunt who had no idea what was going on called and stated how rude they were to her. They spent a whopping 20 mintues on her hair! For $75.00! Aside from that my daughters hair fell out the second we left and my sister had to redo it. I was busy getting ready, but soon realized they literally did not even hair spray my daughters hair at all.\r \r PLEASE schedule with cation if you are to have your bridal party there! It ruined my morning and started my day off completely wrong. I just hope that the owner of this place would never have to endure the rudeness and hostile environment myself and my bridal party did on a HUGE IMPORTANT DAY in her life. more

I am sorry, but some of theese reviews are obviously not for this salon they do not have $80 mandatory trial thing and if someone butchered your hair i am sorry and you should have said something because we could have fixed and refunded your appointment so please come in give us a try and i assure that you will end up with a beautiful haircut more

Would not return. Made appointments for 5 girls for various services anything from hair up dos to make up and manicures. We were told that a trial hair and make up appointment were MANDATAOARY for the bride..... great! We made the appointment for the trial and after were told that that would be $80.... Never in my life have i been charged for for a trial hair style and never would have I thought I would be charged for something they told me was mandatory. What a rip off. As I sateted there are many other salons that you can visit that give you great service for the right price and morals! more

Salon Evangelene is a great hair salon. The staff is well trained and very professional. My stylist Becca T does a wonderful job. the hot stone massages I get from Karen are simply to die for. I highly recommend this hair salon. more

I decided to ""cheat"" on my current stylist because he was so terribly booked. I cannot remember the name of the stylist. She was friendly, but butchered my hair. I told her I wanted a trim and she proceeded to razor my hair to oblivion. It was so bad I took pictures and posted them on facebook. I know others who have gone there & had good luck, but this was a BAD cut. Lesson learned. Pros: Nice atmosphere Cons: Horrible haircut more

This salon is so gorgeous and fun! I love going there time after time... the prices are a bit up there, but the quality is as well! I love going there and will continue to go there. all the girls working have at least 5years experience which shows they really do care about your hair and your looks.
