Salon Due-Mila

Love, love, love my new hair!! This was my first time at Salon Due Milan and definitely not my last. My hair was in great need of some professional help. I previously had highlights done at another salon in an attempt to go from brunette to blonde and the outcome was not so appealing...After a color consult with Adele (salon owner) I agreed to go ahead with having her fix my hair. During my time there I was treated like a queen! They are so profesional, so kind and attentive. I felt not only relaxed but felt like I was in the hands of a professional.\r When all was said and done I left loving my hair and feeling like I had found the salon I can stick with...Oh, and I was given a little goody bag :) I highly recommend Salon Due Mila !! I am so happy with the results. more

Zero stars!!!!!!!! Worst experience... Waited over an hour past my appointment and they gave me a regular pedicure when I purchased a groupon for a spa mani/pedi. The wait was so long there was no time for ??my manicure. I called to reschedule my appointment for the actual services I purchased and the host was rude and went into a tangent about the bad economy and how people need jobs? He refused to reschedule and suggested I call Groupon for a refund. Also when I was there and received the wrong service, I went to the host to ask for change to tip the pedicurist (it wasn't her fault so I still tipped her) and he wasn't at the front desk, he was in a chair getting a freaking haircut!!!!!! more

After trying this salon once and leaving in tears I feel it is my responsibility to warn those about to try a new place. I went in with very long hair and asked for a trim, no more than 3 inches. I left with my hair 11 inches shorter! The girl butchered my hair! She decided I should have more bangs which I didn't ask for, she did not cut my hair straight across the way it was, instead it comes to a V shape, and the entire cut is uneven, one side is significantly shorter and noticeable. After trying to speak to the owner, I was told off! She called me a liar, and said I was over exaggerating, my hair was only cut no more than 3 inches and she claimed I was bothering her staff by calling to complain. She was viciously nasty and made this assumption over the phone without even seeing my hair in person. Wow! I have a right to be upset and she as the owner should have the respect to hear me out and listen without getting defensive.. All I wanted was for her to let me come in and see my hair, and to have her as the owner try to fix it, but I no longer can in good faith trust anyone who works in that salon. They have lot of nerve to call themselves a professional salon. I was told ""It's just hair!"" These are not the words you want to hear from a hairdresser, maybe a truck driver or mechanic, but in the fashion world and as a woman, our hair is very valued to us! Be careful! more

I have been going to this salon since it opened. The staff is friendly and Adele is like my family already! The hair cuts are great no matter who cuts your hair, and the color always comes out perfect. They are really honest with you, and tell you what they think you need. They also listen to you. If you want 1/2 inch cut off, they will only cut that much. You feel special while you are there, they have great spa services, and make up artists. They also have a great clothing boutique to get all your summer dresses and so on. Love this place! more

Decorated pretty, very clean and staff is very friendly. Not a crazy atmosphere , you definately feel like you're getting special attention, and guess what....the same person that cuts your hair dries it too so you don't feel like you're on an assembly line. The manicurists are so nice, there are only two and they are very welcoming. Suprise....they speak english so you can have a conversation and don't feel like someone is talking about you figuring out how that 7 dollar manicure can grow to $15.00. You definately get what you pay for!!!!! I'll be back!!!!! Pros: Smiles from the minute you walk in till the minute you walk out more
