Just had a great cut with Mitty at Salon d'Artiste!! I really enjoyed my experience at the new salon and Mitty was alot of fun to talk to! Thanks Mitty. I will definitely be back! more

Do not get highlights here! unless you like orangey blonde than your in the right place....I went back to get it fixed and i was told i had to pay $40 for them to dry my hair. nothing like adding insult to injury!!! instead of a refund i was asked to pay for a hairdry..its still not the color i like..it looks like straw color more

I have been going to Salon d'Artiste for my hair for several years. I recently took advantage of a a special that salon d'artise was offering with Lisa. I had a Lomi Lomi hawaiin massage on a cocomut scented heated oiled table and it only cost $40...it was worth FAR more than that. Lisa is fabulous, best massage I've ever had! more

I was repeatedly ignored as I looked through the hair products and even when I tried to ask a question. Maybe I didn't look like what they considered a "Main Line" client? Pros: none Cons: rude staff more

I have been going to Salon d'artiste for a few years to Tracy for color and Leza for my haircuts...I tend to have a hard time getting in with them and i was reluctant to try anyone else...finally I decided to try another stylist (Stacey) at Salon d'artiste and i was thrilled with her work! it is nice to go to a Salon that has lots of competant stylists so i have a backup when i cant get in with Tracy or Leza. Also, I felt a little guilty not seeing my regular stylist but they assured me that it is very common and they were glad I was able to get in for an appointment, everyone made me feel very comfortable! Pros: lots of experienced stylist, friendly staff Cons: hard to get walk-in appointments more

Staff is far less than pleasant to everyone. I was astounded when I realized that the three women at the reception desk were discussing my face as I sat there waiting to go be called. That was more humiliation than anyone should ever have to experience. more

I had a bad dye job from another salon and then I saw Salon D?Artiste (located in Wayne) online. I thought the atmosphere looked nice so I made an appointment. Since my hair had to be corrected, the receptionist made sure that she secured extra time for me with my stylist?s schedule. Kirsten (my stylist) was very pleasant and we discussed that I wanted to make my hair look more like its natural color. She happily told me that was excited about the challenge. After applying the color, I had a great washout. Even though my hair was wet, once I looked in the mirror, I could tell that she had done a great job of correcting my hair color. I relaxed back in the salon chair ready to dry my hair so I could see the completed look. When suddenly, the girl who washed my hair came up to me and said that Kirsten had her next appointment. Then, she basically told me I could dry my own hair. Not only did she take me to the nail technician area and plug in a hairdryer next to the bathroom, but then Kirsten just walked over slapped some mousse in my hand and gave me a brush. I was extremely uncomfortable as the nail technicians, customers, and other workers looked at me strangely. After the girls were so nice to me while I was getting my hair done, I now felt extremely embarrassed and rudely mistreated. Considering that it was 30 degrees outside and snowing, I couldn?t see why they would let a customer leave their salon with a wet head. Especially since my hair is short and took all of five minutes to dry myself. Maybe if I was getting my hair done by a friend, I wouldn?t have minded drying my own hair, but I didn't know them. At Salon D?Artiste you will need to schedule a dry. Otherwise you can assume from now on that if you go to Salon D?Artiste, you will leave with a wet head or be forced to dry your own hair next to the bathrooms as part of your salon experience. I was in my friends wedding and i went to the salon to have my hair, makeup and nails done. my manicure looked great and the polish stayed on over a week. My makeup was natural and classy and i went to Wendy for my hair and she gave my a gorgeous updo that stayed in place all day and night! The salon assistants offered me snacks, coffee, tea, and wine while i was there; great service! Pros: the staff was very skilled and precise Cons: waiting area could be a little bigger more

I had my eyebrows waxed at salon d'artiste and they are perfect! i am very particular about my eyebrows and usually not happy, i am going there from now on to have my eyebrows waxed! I also had a facial and highly recommend! i was very relaxed and my skin felt great! I went to Salon D'artiste to have my hair cut and highlighted before New Years Eve. My hair cut turned out great and my color was even better! I am a natural brunette and i had my hair dyed blond with platinum highlights and it looks so natural. The service was great and my stylist was very attentive to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. I also had a conditioning treatment that made my hair feel super soft. i was given a day of luxury at the salon for Christmas by my husband. I have had stone therapy massages before and this one was by far one of the best hot stone massages I've ever had. They served me a very nice spa lunch and everyone in the spa was friendly to me. The facial put me to sleep. The manicure and pedicure were great and I highly recommend this place. I went to Salon DArtiste for several services including a manicure, pedicure and wax. What a mistake to go to Salon D'Artiste. They could not coordinate multiple services. The woman at the front desk was rude. My manicurist was in this strange, mean mood and filed my nails in silence in an angry frenzy. Then she told me she didn't have time to do the pedicure! I was going on a trip and wanted that done. I had to leave and find another salon that I could walk in, despite having an appointment! I would recommend NEVER going to Salon D'Artiste. more
