After receiving one of the worst haircuts of my life from a beautician girlfriend, I was terrified of getting it cut again and waited over a year between cuts and to find a new stylist. But after seeing my split ends had split ends, I knew it was time to find someone.
I read around online and found Salon Dacota. Being someone who colors their hair frequently (and not natural colors), and who is outside the box appearance wise, being comfortable with the salon and having someone who didn't mind the crazy colors was important.
I scheduled an appointment with Derrick, and I could not have been happier. He is relaxed, friendly, and professional. He sat with me and discussed what I wanted, the shape that my hair was in and what I was using on it. I was his last appointment on a Friday evening, and not only did he take his time; he stayed about a half hour after the salon closed to style my hair.
I was very impressed by Salon Dacota, and will be scheduling future appointments with Derrick!
