I travel allot and had some time in Charleston, SC recently to have my hair done. Honestly I wish I lived there because I would go to Salon Couture all the time to see Carol!! She is a color specialist, amongst a stream of other specialties (including hair extensions). My color came out perfect and she shaped up my style just beautifully. I have been to so many salons all over the country and I have not found someone I connect with like I did with Carol. I cannot wait to have another opportunity to go through Charleston to visit my favorite stylist, Carol!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! more

James is the best hair stylist out there. I travel from out of town just to see him. I was never able to find a stylist that even comes close in my new city. He can always take your ideas and make them work for you. I have had many different styles over the years and I have never been disappointed. more

Kings St. Master Stylist 9/1/2010

I have been going to James for many years. Now he has the sexiest Salon on King with parking around back which is wonderful. James is so professional, always on time, he knows exactly what I want and listens to what I am asking for. He colors to perfection and his cuts really last. I have followed him from place to place and will stay with him forever. Don't go anywhere else. more

I have been going to James for YEARS....he is so good at what he does & knows exactly what will look the best. I have been blonde to dark brown & short to long. He can do it all. Their new space is absolutely beautiful ... Drama-free, fair prices & extra talented... I travel from Atlanta to get my hair done at Salon Couture. more

My stylist Randall has moved to Salon Couture!! Just made a visit and had my hair done. Cut/color/highlights - looks great. Compliments everywhere I go. Pros: very accomodating staff Nice space more

I recently had my hair done by carol and i have to say, im extremely satisfied. She was very nice and helped me find the new style i've been looking for. The salon is really nice and fits perfectly into downtown charleston. I loved the friendliness, professional service and the student discount is much appreciated! I definately recomend carol and salon couture. Pros: Great stylists, great atmosphere, very happy with result Cons: Hard to find a close parking more

Downtown Charlestons No.1 Professional Salon 7/25/2008

I've been getting my hair done at Salon Couture for awile now by Carol, She always does an outstanding job and is very professional. The staff there are all great and the salon has a professional, yet laid-back atmosphere to it. I highly reccomend it to anyone who is in persuit of a 5 star hair-doo, and is in the charleston area. Pros: Everything Cons: Not much parking more

Best Salon in town 8/13/2007

I have been going to Carol for years and would never consider going anywhere else. I love to change my hair and she has always been so supportive. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed without club music blaring in your ears but still has that trendy downtown feel. My husband sees her now also and says it is the first salon that he has been in where he feels comfortable and not pressured to buy any products. Definitely check out Carol and the rest of the staff at Salon Couture! more

Fantastic Hair Cuts! 5/30/2007

I won't let anyone but Carol cut my hair and she does a wonderful job everytime. The rest of the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is hip and trendy. If I ever move out of the city, I'll probaby drive or fly back to Charleston just for the great hair cuts! Cons: No parking more
