Salon Ciseaux

I started going to Salon Ciseaux 6 years ago when it came recommended by my best friend. I was ready for a change, so I let one of the owners, Cathy give me a great new look. SHE DID! She gave my deep brown hair an auburn/mocha tint, then styled my hair to a much more sophisticated cut to fit my face. Since then, I've gone to college out of state and moved back home; but all haircuts & hair coloring came from Salon Ciseaux. The staff is always smiling, and are always eager to share fun stories. At times they may be overbooked, but they're well worth the extra 15 minutes you'd find anywhere. Salon Ciseaux is also great for the guys! When we lived in Winter Park, my fiance got his hair cut there by Ryan. He is always so picky, but was always happy with Ryan's work. I not only LOVE Kristen, my stylist, but I LOVE the team work that happens at Ciseaux's! Kristen is one awesome lady with a pair of scissors, and the rest of the staff back each other up. This was the first salon that I used since moving to the Orlando area. Sidney was the stylist that I saw and I must say did an awesome job and both cut and color. However, the cost of my last(and final) visit was insane. I was charged $172(without tip) for a trim and partial foil. My hair is a considered long by the books but its only 1"" below my shoulders. For a salon that only offers beverages if asked, and is an obvious remake of a waffle house it's definately not worth it. Cons: Cost, building more

I have been going to Debbie for a few months at Salon Ciseaux. I love the atmosphere, not pretentious, but very nice. The quality of my cut and color are second to none. I also love Orla - she does a FABULOUS pedicure! The massusse was kind of pushy, but everything else has been fabulous! The service here is incredible. They just raised their prices, so I was a little shell shocked last time I was in there, but honestly, the results are so good, I will be back. i was nervous about going to a new salon, but after reading the reviews i gave ciseaux a try. i'm so glad i did. it's nice inside, trendy but not snotty, and i am so in love with my hair! jael took the time to listen to my ideas and used them to give me an amazing updated look. this salon is packed for a reason, highly recommended!! I have to disagree with some of the other great reviews of this place. There might be some great hairdressers here but I have not experienced this. I have went here 3 times already and experienced from 3 different hairdressers the same thing. They cut the hair how they want it not how you want it. They just simply don't listen to what you want. I went into the salon needing a new stylist and with a new haircut in mind. Kristen not only listened to every word I said, we discussed what would look best on me and worked on it together. When she had finished my hair, it was the best haircut I have ever received in my life. I look beautiful and I feel great all thanks to the salon and Kristen. more

One of the greatest things in life is finding a place where you know you are going to be given the best service...Ciseaux is not just a place to get your hair done but an experience. Everyone who works there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and at ease about whatever beauty decision you are making for yourself. Their new location is convenient and has an upbeat atmosphere. If you are worried or need help relaxing, you can clear your day and visit with Larissa, their awesome massage therapist, who can also give you a facial, manicure and pedicure. She truly knows how to make a person feel pampered. Cathy, Bekka, Kristen, Arlene, Ashley, Rent, Sidney, Jael, Ryan and all of the wonderful staff at Ciseaux are fabulous! Thank god for Bekka- I had a terrible experience at another salon and ended up with black and yellow streaks! It was awful. Bekka not only fixed the mistake, but took great care of my hair. She is amazing and I would recommend her to everyone. She is super friendly and outgoing. She listens to you and does her best to make sure that you are happy and comfortable throughout your visit! 5 Stars!!! more

I visited Ciseaux because of the good reviews I read here and could not be happier with the service and the haircut I received! The salon has recently moved to their new location which is the old Waffle House bldg right off of Lee Rd. and I loved the atmosphere and what they have done with the inside of the bldg. My appt. was with Ryan and he did an excellant job of taming my thick hair - I have received several compliments on my new hair style. The best part is that it only takes me about 5 mins to style in the morning and looks as good as it did when I left the salon. Yippee!! Pros: courteous staff, good parking, good atmosphere more
