Joanmarie is not only very talented and experienced but is also honest and very accomadating. I have been to very high end salons in Boston and I can tell you that the products that Salon Capri uses as well as the internal talent you will not leave disappointed! I had been going to Gina for haircuts for years. I can just sit in the chair and say, "Do what you think I need" and it looks great every time. I moved to DC 8 years ago and have been to numerous highly recommended salons and NONE compare. I get my hair cut at Salon Capri when I come back to Boston to visit. Gina is a genius. more

There is a reason this salon has so many awards for the "Best of Boston". I had color done by Gina, who is one of the original owners. She did exactly what I wanted, and I love my hair! While she is quite busy, they have several excellent assistants to help you during your visit. I actually loved her assistant (Laureen) so much I asked about booking with her when Gina is not available. Parking was not an issue like it is on Newbury street. I went on a Friday, and found street meter parking. The prices were comparable to what I have been paying in the suburbs, but seemed less than the salon I tried on Newbury street. I moved here from Texas over 2 1/2 years ago, and I have been jumping around from salon to salon. I feel like I now have found "the one". more
