I received a gift card and used it for a hot stone pedicure. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and professional and the decor is inviting. Though I had only booked a pedicure, I asked if they could also work me in for a brow wax. The front desk staff was accommodating and booked me a brow wax after my pedicure. \r I can honestly say that the pedicure was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever had. Callie did an amazing job! From the products, to the massage, to the polish, everything exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a treat for your feet, I would fully recommend a pedicure by Callie.\r After my pedicure, I had a brow wax with Jackie and I can also say that this was one of the best brow waxes I have ever had. Jackie took her time to make sure that everything was perfect.\r If you are looking to treat yourself or someone you know to a great spa experience, I would recommend Salon Boheme. \r more

I moved to LA about 7 months ago and started going to Salon Boheme because it was close to my house. I have consistently been going ever since. The service is great, and the staff is always friendly. As soon as I walk in the door they know who I am and the wait time for my appointment is very minimal. I highly recommend Salon Boheme. I have yet to be disappointed. :) more

Sticker Shock 2/29/2012

I work near the salon and thought i would drop in for a quick trim.The service was average and they did take me as a walk in.I told the stylist i just wanted a cut. She washed my hair and gave me a trim, The receptionist told me the hair cut would be 55.00 i was shocked. I am a 50 year old man and have never paid this amount for a wash and trim. I should have been served brunch.For an average salon that was to much. I will not be going back. more

Amazing Salon and Spa!!!! 9/12/2011

I have been a client at Salon Boheme for over 10 years, and their services are impeccable! My family uses many of the stylists at Salon Boheme, as well as many of the individuals in the spa. You can't go wrong with anyone you choose at Salon Boheme. Their quality is unmatched, and their customer service is amazing. I perused through some of the prior posts, and all I can say is they are unequivocally incorrect and obviously have a hidden agenda. It is not uncommon for fired employees to purposefully sabotage a former employers, and I can say with a high degree of certainty this is the case. If you choose Salon Boheme you will not be disappointed. You will receive world class service on all fronts, and you will definitely become a loyal client. Salon Boheme is incredible, and you will be beyond happy that you chose their services. more

Discounts and lies 11/7/2010

I called the salon to make an emergency appointment with my stylist Laura and they informed me that she was no longer there but they would offer me 50% off my color and cut to see christina. I went bc they wouldn't tell me where laura was and they promised they had my color formula saved and it would come out the same. It was very empty in there and very clear they didn't have my formula saved. My color is way off ...it's so red!!! When I gave them my concern they offered me another discount to come back after I washed it a few times in the hopes it would fade. Instead of offering discounts they should do as they promised. I feel used and I can not wait to go see laura! Thanks for posting where she is! more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PLACE EVER! 11/6/2010

O.M.G. this place was absolutely horrible!! I've been meaning to write this review for the longest time but never got to the chance until my friend went there last week and told me how Cara, messed up her hair and I remembered how horrible my experience was. They had a dog there and I was so shocked, I'm deathly scared of dogs and when I asked if the dog can be removed from the floor until I finish getting my hair done, the owner told me NO and that I can leave. I was surprise by her answer, I don't even think you can have a dog there. The front desk was rude and so is the owner. My experience was anything but relaxing, I didn't even get to finish getting my haircut and they still made me pay for my haircut. They definitely need to tell people if they have a dog there because some people are allergic to dogs and they need to be respectful of that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place by any means. This is a WARNING to all people who are looking for a salon do NOT pick this one. Not only do they mess up haircuts but they are rude and disrespectful. do not pay all that money to feel like you're nothing but trash. more

Lost and Found 11/3/2010

Yesterday I showed up to this salon and was told my hairdresser Shassity was not there. The receptionist told me I could see someone else and was trying hard to give me discounts. I called Shassity myself and I left and met her at her new salon The Gallery. I was so happy to talk to her because they were very rude to me at Boheme and withheld her new location but I could tell they knew where she was. more

Chaos 11/3/2010

I have been going to this salon for 2 years now seeing Andree. I had an appointment with her for my bridal consultation and when I was called from the salon to confirm the appointment the front desk person offered me 50% off to see another stylist. I asked where my stylist went and the refused to offer that information although i had already booked her for my wedding. After speaking with a mutal friend I have learned that Andree along with 4 other stylists (shassity, amanda, laura, and greta) have all relocated to the Gallery. Obvioulsy there is some internal drama that would make 5 stylist all leave. The owner has always seemed a little ""out of tune"" with her salon and staff. To be honest, Im happy to see them go and look forward to a more relaxing atmosphere. more

Excellent place! 9/21/2010

I've been going to Salon Boheme since it opened, and the owner has been cutting my hair for even longer. I love it there. I've had several different stylist cut and color my hair and they are all fabulous! They are experts at what they do! They know the latest techniques. I'm never afraid to try something new because I know they will guide me to the pefect cut and color and do a fabulous job. Everytime I go somewhere else (since I no longer actually live in Baton Rouge) I'm very disappoint, and I'll wait until I'm passing through BR to schedule an appointment then. The atmosphere is great and relaxing. I always love they way I feel when I leave - beautiful and refreshed. It can be difficult to get an appointment because they are so popular, so plan ahead! more

Always a wonderful experience 2/15/2010

I have been going to Salon Boheme for several years and to Amanda for longer - and it is always a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is so beautiful, relaxing and spa like, you will feel like you are being pampered and taken away from your busy life for a few hours. The staff is relaxed and friendly, not like at some other places that are clickish or very hurried and stressed. Actually look forward to getting my hair done once a month for the conversation and relaxation. Pros: relaxing, spa like feel, consistent, friendly Cons: None! more

Its sad to see that a business owner has to recruit ppl to write positive reviews about their business. I was never told that my stylist was no longer there and fooled when I recieved a ""confirmation "" call. The unprofessionalism baffled me. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone... Always a great experience 1/21/2010

It's really great to find a salon that's the combo of professional and relaxing. Some salons that are so professional come across as stuffy but not Salon Boheme. I hate to hear others bash such a great business and I am proud to be a customer and I will continue to be customer and recommend to my friends. Please remember the rule not to believe everything you hear, but experience it for yourself !!!! Pros: Professional and Relaxing Cons: Appointments sometimes hard to get b/c of demand more

I've been to countless hairdressers and salons and have experienced good, bad and indifferent results. For three and one-half years now, I've been going to Salon Boheme, to Amanda for color and to Greta for cut, and I've never had less than an excellent experience. I have yet to find anywhere in town with a staff this talented. They are always extremely professional and friendly. Best Haircuts in Town! 1/19/2010

I have been a customer of Salon Boheme for years and they have the most talented stylists that Baton Rouge has to offer. There is no other place I would have my hair done!!! The staff is incredibly efficient and friendly. I recommend this place to everyone i know! Pros: Excellent Service Cons: none at all! more
