Salon Blu

HI, im the Owner of Salon Blu. Have owned the Salon Blu name (I created) over 10 yrs now. We have never mistreated anyone, including our Staff. As the OWNER - when I decided to sell the Downtown location, I offered to sell to Neal Cryder & Rebecca Cisneros Shelgren in April 2011. 3 months later they decided not to purchase but to part ways that minute, pack up & leave after our meeting. It was their decision & not one that I made for them. After given 3 choices to continue working, they Decided not to work for the New Owners who purchased or to work for the Entity SALON BLU in a new Venue. I never sold my employees nor their clients to anyone & they had ample notice to make their decision within those 3 months. Unfortunately the choice was to leave the Salon Blu Team. I was disappointed with this decision. We had all worked together over 6 years with a Great Business reputation, A Great Friendship & A Great Strong Team. We all worked very hard to make Salon Blu the Best Salon in Greensboro. I'm sorry to say that Having a new salon take over was not taken well by Staff or Others. This is usually the case when a business takes a new Venue. Being BITTER, posting & verbally telling people an untrue version about what happen, may satisfy some people's hurt feelings, but is not the way to handle the situation. Choosing to leave & do their own thing was their choice! Live with the choice you choose in life & not try to make it out to be someone Else's fault! Life will go on & the great times we had at Salon Blu will be remembered by many. Salon Blu will live on in many people's Hearts! Anyone interested in contacting us may do so @ SALON BLU on Facebook. As of Thur. Aug. 4th, Salon Blu was sold. Due to no notification prior to the change over, Stylist Neal Cryder and Manager, Esthetician Rebecka Shelgren, have opened a new salon. I don't know what Alicia J is talking about, but Salon Blu is highly recommended in my book--and I'm extremely picky when it comes to who's cutting my hair. NEAL has been cutting both my and my husband's hair and I trust him enough to just sit and go, "Whatever you think looks best"--and love it when he's done. Atmosphere is great--very clean, modern yet warm, very zen. Not the least bit "homosexual," whatever that's supposed to mean, Alicia J. more

Great place to get a cut. Pleasant atmosphere, good products and the stylist I use, Neal is great at his job. I would guess that his counterparts are equally as skilled and you will not find an attitude anywhere in the building. For what you are getting the rates are also very reasonable - in fact, my wife and children go there too. more

Can't say enough good things about Salon Blu. I followed my hairstylist (Neal) to Salon Blu and will continue to go to Salon Blu. more
