Salon Bellissima

I found this salon through a Groupon as well about a year ago. I booked my appointment with Ysabella (?Isabella), the owner, and never looked back. She is very professional, quickly sized up my mop of hair and assessed what I needed. I have thin, baby-fine hair, and there's a lot it just won't do. She gave me such a great hair cut that makes it look like I actually have a lot of hair, and I love it. I will continue to go to her as long as she's willing to cut it. more

I had the most unprofessional and rude experience with the owner of Salon Bellissima. Let me first off start by saying that I have spent time in some of the best salons in Boston and NYC so I know the level of customer service and quality a salon should be offering. I decided to try an new salon through a Groupon offer. I have done this before but this has been the worst experience I have had so far. The beginning of my experience with this salon consisted of extreme computer and booking problems. I had to have about 3 or 4 phone calls in order to have them put me in the system and book me. Then I show up early for my appointment and seated 25 minutes late with no apologies. The owner then continues to ask me about the color of my hair and what I am looking for while she is working on another customer. To make matters worse she was unprofessional and rude about my hair, services, and my Groupon. Then she continues to tell me my appointment was at 12 not 11...even though that is what they told me when I was booking it. Maybe they need to invest in a better computer system. I ended up leaving completely disgusted with my services and treatment from the owner. So I reported this to Groupon and am waiting to get a refund. I would never go back to this salon let alone trust them with my hair. This seems like a salon that should be on Tabithas Salon Takeover on Bravo. No thank you. more

Ysabella makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. She is the consumate professional. Not for one moment did I feel awkward or embarrassed. I have had several so-called Brazillian waxes previously, but they do no compare to the superior job that she does. I will be back again and again. Outside of being the nicest people, I got the best Eyebrow waxing in my life. My eyebrows that usually look like catepillars were beautifully arched and cleanly tweezed. I can't wait to go back and have my hair colored. The thick coarse hair Sol and Ysabella had beautifully coiffed made me want to do the same. more
