I've been going to Salon Bamboo for years and the same person has been cutting my hair all that time. I'm glad she is healthy and younger than me, because I'd croak if she couldn't cut my hair. She manages to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse -- I look as good as I'm going to look, thanks to her. The salon is clean, well-decorated, and the staff is friendly and just plain nice. They have a wonderful selection of products to buy, which my daughter absolutely loves, to my chagrin. I think the prices are on the high side, but well worth it considering I'd otherwise look like something the cat dragged in, and that is even if someone else cut my hair! I recently read an article posted by rpfceo on 04/26/08. First of all, ""get a life"" (no offence!!!) who-ever-you-are. Be careful what you say about a whole establishment, based on your stylist telling you a story of his or her coworker's boyfriend. It's just conversation in ""a day at the salon"". If you didn't like your stylist, ask for another! There are some really good artists working at Salon Bamboo. For someone to be as bitter as you...maybe you were fired from Salon Bamboo at one time, maybe your from another salon trying to give bad publicity, or maybe it must have been the price that you couldn't handle...Hey! I have the answer, maybe you should buy a ""Flowbee Haircutting System"", hook it up to your vaccum and do it yourself!!! more

I had messed my own color,I couldn't afford to have it done,let alone going in and having it corrected!! One of the stylist had stop in our store, and ask what I was doing with my hair color ,I told her and she felt, that she could help me,she talked to her manager,to see if she could help me, they felt if she wanted to do it was ok!! Nobody in Naples has ever come up to me and offer to help me like that, I was in shock,and my color was awesome, Pros: treated me with care and compation more

I have been to Felix Andrews along with other Aveda salons in naples, and this is the first location to actually have authentic Aveda integrity. I am from Minnesota so I know Aveda. First off the front desk was friendly and helpful in recommending a stylist- which happened to be a perfect match! My stylist was understanding and knew exactly what would look best on me. I have been a client of theirs since January and find their service is consistent- not to mention my hair is always beautiful when I walk out. The front desk also sends out discounted times on facials and hair appointments during off season. Save yourself any worry should you decide to go to Salon Bamboo. You're in good hands. I'm a guy and I take pride in being well groomed. I tried Salon Bamboo when I moved down to Naples and it was easily the worst haircut I've ever gotten at a high end salon. Not only was my dreadful haircut a whopping $40, the attitude of the staff was quite snotty. They even had the nerve to call me afterwards asking what I thought of my experience at the salon. I told the girl on the phone that I'd never go back. If you like the Aveda philosophy (which I do), skip Salon Bamboo and make yourself an appointment at one of the Felix Andrew Salons. I would not recommend this salon. The front desk staff was fake and trashy. My stylist was telling me how her coworkers boyfriend stole money from his partner in a restaurant business and is going to jail. I dont want to here about stuff like that when i get my hair done and paying top dollar. The salon is new but a very cold feeling. just a bad experience all the way around. I went to the salon because it is Aveda. Big mistake. The front desk is a disaster; a couple of girls stressed to the max, trying to be professional when you can tell they just want to pull-out their hair. You can always tell how tight the ship is run at reception. I was introduced to a stylist, who didn't understand my hair, but what can you do... get up and walk-out? He said he was the hair color champion of the world, or some BS. Well, long story short, I didn't feel my hair was prize-worthy, in fact, not even tip-worthy. Heed advice and find another Aveda salon, if you care about your hair (and your wallet). more

I just left the New Aveda Salon in Naples. I received a beautiful color and hair cut , and the staff was very professional and friendly. I also experienced one of the best facials I have ever had. I have been using Aveda products for years and always go to Aveda Salons. I highly reccomend this one!\r more

The cut i received wasnt worth the money. I believe the owner was standing behind the desk when i was checking out and questioning the high cost. She didnt say a word just stared at me with a blank look. I could tell she was annoyed with me. Maybe its time to retire sweety. It's not my fault your still cutting hair at your age!
