Most professional attitude and creative service ever experienced 12/26/2007

This salon has the greatest atmostphere when you enter. Joette is very professional and creative in her makeup and hair design for bridal and formal occasions. My whole experience in choosing my hair color and style for my wedding day was wonderful. my bridal party was very please with the whole package selection starting from hair, makeup and hair acessories selection that is available in her salon. Her staff also provides and very professional attitude and customer service for all your needs. I received so many complements even from my photographer. I will refer this salon to everyone. I'm so glad we connected. more

\r I live in North Carolina and decided to get married in Carmel. I was very nervous at the thought of finding someone to do my hair/makeup. I searched for months; analyzing every salon and the reviews. After finding Joette and reading all the great comments people gave I decided to give her a call. She is very professional and listens to what you want. Joette is a great talent and you can not go wrong with her. \r If I lived in CA she would be my stylist, but since I live on the other coast I can only thank her by letting others know what a great job she did for me on my wedding day. I have had some very bad experiences in the past with stylists and that is why I had been doing my hair for years until I finally met Joette. She is a true artist that takes the time to listen and to address her clients individual needs. I feel confident and relaxed in her care. Anyone who is ready to experience a real professional and artist or anyone who might be leary of stylist due to past bad experiences should come to Joette. You will certainly be glad that you did! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere 12/5/2006

Joette is very easy to talk to which always makes for a great haircut or color experience. She never takes shortcuts so I hope you've got a couple of hours to spare. The colors she uses are gentle on your hair but fade in about 4 weeks. Her cuts are fabulous and grow out very well. more

Excellent Service 12/5/2006

I had a trial hair and makeup session and a final session with Joette, the owner, for my wedding. Joette did her homework and asked alot of questions before even the trial to make sure I was getting what I wanted. She noted every one of my comments and feedback and was completely prepared on my wedding day. With my hair down to the lower part of my back, and with an up-do for the wedding day, Joette did not take any shortcuts or rush either my hair or makeup, or either appointments, and made me feel like her most important customer. My hair and makeup looked 100 times better than the trial, and just simply perfect by my wedding day. I highly recommend Joette for your special events. One thing I am so happy I did and recommend others do too is if you are having your hair and makeup done for your wedding, it is soooooooooo worth it to do the trial run. I love this salon and my hair. Joette did a great job on higlighting and fixing my hair. I had uneven and orange looking hair and she took the time to make sure my hair looked natural and even. She spent so much time on my hair and I appreciate it so much because it came out great and everyone compliments me on it. It was alot of work but she took the time to make sure my hair was great. She also gave me a amazing cut and my hair has never looked so thick. Joette is friendly and very professional. I also love the ambiance of the salon it reminds me of the retro hollywood movie star glamour days! Pros: great service, beautiful location, skilled hairdresser, friendly comfortable enviroment more

Wedding experience was wonderful! 10/15/2006

I was very stressed out with wedding plans. So the most important project that was left for planning was my wedding hair and makeup and for the girls in my wedding party. I was at a wedding in San Francisco and Joette's name came up at this event and I was told to give her a call that she was just great. When I made the call I knew everything was going to be just fine! She is very professional and communicates wonderfully. Her Salon is so wonderful! She is very original and fun. She gave me a new look with my new eyebrows and makeup my hair was just wonderful. I felt so relaxed on my wedding day and I looked and felt just beautiful!\r It's a one stop Salon and great experience! Pros: great location and great atmosphere more

Best hair Salon on the Monterey Penninsula and beyond! 10/15/2006

I am a male who gets his hair cut by Joette. I followed her, as a client, from her old business establishment in Monterey to her new salon in Carmel. I think that no matter how far I had to drive, I would always continue to use Joette to cut my hair. Her hair cuts are always PERFECT - just the way I want them. I never have to tell her, because she remembers from the last visit - due the the fact that I am a returning customer. Joette is also very friendly - I always feel welcome when I go to her salon and we hae great conversations! She is very knowledgable about hair and hair products. She really knows what she is talking about and does a fantastic job! I would NEVER use anyone but her! Pros: Neighbor is as good as it gets anywhere! She does the best job of anyone I have ever used! Cons: NONE! more

Best make-up Artist and Hair Stylist on the Peninsula 10/4/2006

Joette has been my beauty consusltant for 3 years. I have a position that is in the public eye all the time so I need to look my best all the time. she has demonstrated excellent and articulate make-up applications for my special events every time. Her hair cuts and color are the best and her costumized facial treatments and eyebrow arching are the best everytime. She is able to provide a 1 stop service every time and it's always professional and inviting. I feel so beautiful after every appointment. Come see her at her new salon! you will love it!
