Marni was wonderful! I came to her for the first time with a terrible haircut from another salon. She was so sweet and took the time to fix it and make sure I was happy . I love my new haircut!! I will definitely be back to see Marni! The salon is also nice and love the location. more

I thought I'd try AmySue at Salon Amore for a cut and color (highlights), and even though the cut was decent, the color was very orange. I went back a couple of times, and asked her to fix the brassiness, but she seemed upset that I didn't like the color the way it was. I don't think a professional should take things like that personally. Considering how much I paid, it seems she'd want me to be satisfied with it. I'll be looking for someone else. I can't recommend her. more

I moved here from California and was worried about finding someone for waxing, facials, and hair. I was very fortunate and found Cynthia at Salon Amore. She is fantastic. She did a great job with the brazilian waxing. I really enjoyed the facial I received and can't wait to book another one. I lucked out again when I went to Patti. She is was wonderful. At my last appointment I had her give me a new haircut with highlights and my hair turned out terrific. She worked very hard to give me just the cut I wanted and she did a great job with my highlights. I have received a lot of nice compliments. more

I've been getting facials from Cynthia for quite a while now and I won't consider going to anyone else. She does a great job and I leave those facials looking and feeling better. She is also very calming to be around. She is awesome! Ryanne has been doing my hair for almost a year now and she is also great. The color is always perfect as are the cuts and styling. I never know what to do with my hair and she always comes up with the right thing. I like these two so much that when they changed salons I went right along with them. I wish I could give them 6 six, 5 seems inadequate! more

Patti has been doing my hair since we have been out of high school. When there were perms, body waves, long hair, short hair, and many different colors. She has always done a fantastic job styling my hair. I have never left her unhappy with my hair. Because I am totally gray, it has been a challenge for me dealing with the gray hair, but she has always assured me that it will turn out great, and I have never ever been disappointed with my hair color. She is the best stylist and friend you could ever wish for. more

Salon Amore - the best kept secret in downtown Gilbert - without hesitation - absolutely! I've been going to Salon Amore to get my haircut for more than five years. Not only are the stylists friendly and courteous, they take pride in providing a high level of quality service. My current stylist, Amy Sue, goes beyond a normal haircut with value-added service and care. With each and every appointment, Amy Sue will ask me if I would like water or soda, offer recommendations as to the type of haircut I will need, color my eyebrows, trimming eyebrows and ensuring that I am comfortable and relaxed. Amy Sue engages in great conversation making an effort to talk about the things I may be interested in. I've always been impressed with that part of her personality - taking a genuine interest in getting to know me, her client. At the end of each appointment, I am reluctant to leave feeling that I've escaped from daily stress and into haircut paradise! I reserve no hesitation in recommending Amy Sue and any of the stylists at Salon Amore. One more thing, the owner always ensures that my favorite candy treat is available when I come in..... I love Salon Amore. more

I have to say that I am extremely upset with my most recent visit! I don't like to say unflattering things about people; however when the person is saying things that are just plain mean, I feel as if someone needs to let the rest of the patrons know what kind of person they are. My last visit started off as usual with my great stylist, I will not mention her name because I love her and do not want to stop having her do my hair. As I was getting my hair done I could not help over hear one of the stylists near us, Patti is her name. As I am getting my hair done she was talking about someone in such a manner that was so offensive I honestly wanted to ask her to stop. Now I know I have not gotten my hair done by Patti, so I am not criticizing that aspect of her work; however, I am going to say that she said things that were so offensive and quite frankly made me think twice about spending my money at Salon Amore. If this is how the staff talks and thinks about other people it is not somewhere I want to go nor would I recommend my friends to go. If it were not for my great stylist I would not step foot in the salon again. I feel that someone needs to speak with Patti about her actions because she was extremely offensive! more

I have seen Cynthia for a few years for a brow tint and wax and LOVE her! She listens to what I want and does a great job. I have tried going to other people for the same services closer to my home but I always end up back with her to get the job done right. She just moved over to Salon Amore from another salon and the customer service here is exceptional. Everyone is very nice and personable. I highly recommend going to Cynthia for waxing, tinting or even a facial! You will be happy with the results! more

I have to be honest I was nervous about going to a new stylist. I was put with Amy Sue and I loved her! She listened to what I wanted and I didn't feel rushed at all. I found Salon Amore on City Search when I was looking for a hair salon in Gilbert. I was happy to find that their website gave information regarding each stylist and their area of expertise! I have very thick, wavy, course hair and wear it short. I needed someone who knew how to handle this type of hair with a razor and knew how this type of hair would ultimately look once cut and thinned out. Patty was my girl! She was super at asking all the pertinent questions about my hair while feeling it and talking to me. She made me feel right at home and she was very conversational and friendly. Best of all, I walked out of their with a fabulous cut and color at an affordable price! Salon Amore made you feel pampered but not uncomfortable. I love Patty and will be back to see her in 2 weeks! It's so hard to find someone who REALLY knows hair types and is still affordable. I'm happy to say I've found my gal!! more
