Poor first impression 5/10/2008

This was my first experience with Salon Agape. Unfortunately, it was a poor one. I was called one hour before my scheduled appointment to be told that they would have to cancel my massage. They offered me a pedicure instead! What I was most disappointed by was the fact that the receptionist did not offer to reschedule my massage. Poor first impression. I am unlikely to try them again. more

Great service - Good Karma 11/20/2006

I have been to Salon Agape twice and was very happy both times. Moved here recently and first tried what was supposed to be the ""best"" salon in area.....paid a lot of money and the hair stylist there had her helper do my color, wash and dry my hair...she only did my haircut! Decided to switch and liked what I read about this salon on their website...and it is true!! The person I see has a lot of training, listens well,is friendly and professional... and she did my color and cut and dried it herself ( I love my new color). One of the helpers did wash my hair..but they do a head massage thing there and she was great at it. And I recommended the salon to a friend at work and found out they give you a $10 certificate for every referral. The people at the desk, the other hairdressers and the helpers are all very friendly and nice...no attitudes if you know what I mean. Very good service & products 11/13/2006

I've been going to Salon Agape for a few years, and I've found this salon to be a top-notch business. While I've had a few stylists over the years (as people have moved away), every person I've worked with has been highly skilled, has listened very well, and is very accommodating. I've had hair color, cuts, highlights, facials, manicures, and pedicures. I can only think of one time when I wasn't really thrilled because a new tech was running way behind schedule - the salon gave me a gift for having to wait a long time, and they were very kind and apologetic. I really recommend them as an excellent salon that is reasonably priced and always training their staff on new techniques and products. Salon Agape, Novi MI 7/20/2006

Salon Agape is wonderful! The people are so nice and patient. The salon is beautiful and soothing. You will never leave with a bad cut or color. The upscale, chic salon is a bit pricey but it is worth it! Jodi is my hairdresser and she is the Ken Paves of Detroit! If you want a good color and cut go to Jodi, you will look like a movie star! more

best experience ever!!!!! 3/11/2006

I can not begin to say what a wonderful, relaxing, and joyous experience. The front desk to my hair stylists to the assistant that gave me a hand masssage (which I did not expect) was just amazing. Finally--a salon that has a professional staff - does great work- and doesn't make me feel like I am the one that should feel lucky to be there! Everyone is friendly and down to earth and really listened to what I needed and wanted. more
