Best salon to go to! I have been going here for years and the owner is by far the best person to have do your color, cuts, and waxing. She did my hair for my wedding and it turned out so GORGEOUS! Everyone was complimenting me all night on how pretty my hair was. I would never go anywhere else for hair services or waxing! more

I would not recommend this place to anyone! They don't accept the spa finder gift cards. I called to make an appointment and they told me they take them when in fact they do not! I was over charged by $45 and they don't tell you what your paying for! I thought I was charged for gratuity, but she said no.The room where you get your eyebrows done was so cluttered it looked like a small cluttered office. I was the only customer in there and now I know why! I had my hair colored there too and the girl I think forgot about me. all the employees were in the back eating at the same time. My highlights are white and well over-processed! The place is very filthy and expensive! I don't think they will be in business for long! more

WORST SALON PEOPLE 9/15/2011

omg, terrible experience! i wanted red highlights, and she was givin me attitude about how bland its gonna look because i have auburn base color and she gave me bright blond highlights. i told her i didnt like the color, she got pissed at me and tried to convince me it looked good on me. the next day, i made her redo my hair. the whole time she was pissy at me, and when she was washing my hair, she tugged it, pulled it so hard i wanted to cry. i was furious at her and her prissy little attitude. i didn't tip or say thank you, i just walked out. so STAY AWAY, staff is RUDE!! more

I feel like Butter ! 11/5/2010

I have had many massages , but never a therapist like Judy. She is not always available and apparently works on call. But I don't mind booking ahead, if I am going to feel that good. I sure hope to get another massage soon. Wow. more

Note to the TG community 8/11/2010

I am a TG, M-F client. I contacted a few places via e-mail because I was interested in purchasing a higher quality wig than the one I had. Salon 21 was the first to respond, and welcomed me (and my kind) with open arms. Rella spent a lot of time with me, as we tried on many wigs. I was able to do everything en femme, which is of course important to us. Their wigs are not cheap, but they are quality. If she would have used my femme name, Suzy, it would have been perfect, but this is a minor criticism. I would recommend Salon 21 to a crossdresser or otherwise trans person for the attention they give and the quality of their products. more

Cheers to Salon 21 6/25/2010

The variety of fun, energetic and professional staff has helped me maintain my hairstyle with my busy schedule. I am not always able to coordinate my schedule with just one stylist and I often have to book last minute or come as a walk-in client. So Ive had haircuts with many stylists at Salon 21 and its always been GREAT! Ive gotten to know a lot of the staff on a more personal level and have shared many great experiences with them. We love to catch up on each others lives, families and friends. I am a regular client and when I walk through the door its like the song from Cheers ""you wanna go where everybody knows your name!"" Horrible, Horrible Stay Away 6/21/2010

OH MY GOODNESS, THIS CAN NOT BE TRUE !!!! LOOK AT MY HAIR. WHAT IS A GIRL TO DO, SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY FRIENDS ADVICE AND, STAYED AWAY. I RECEIVED A COUPON IN THE MAIL. I WAS UNSURE BUT WITH TIMES SO HARD AND MY HUSBAND OUT OF WORK I FOOLISHLY USED IT. ANY and everything that could go wrong went wrong !!! The color was horrible. I do not know where or , if she really to did go to beauty school. My hair was so horrible it made me wonder. I had to spend a fortune to my hair corrected (and they tried so hard .) Salon 21 called it a haircut, my friend called it a plate on my head. Even the wigs she sells couldn't help my hair. A Fantastic Salon with a Warm and Inviting Atmosphere 4/12/2008

I've been going to Salon 21 for years. Rella is the owner and is my hairstylist -- and a fantastic one at that. She is extremely talented and versatile as are those on her staff. The salon offers so many services, such as hair color, cutting, perming, extensions, and a whole array of spa services, including massages, facials, and so much more. Whenever I walk into Salon 21 I am greeted with warmth and professionalism. I feel like I'm not just getting my hair cut...I feel like it's more of an event! Kind of walking into another world -- one of relaxation and a genuine interest in making me feel good about the way I look and feel. I would highly recommend Salon 21 to anyone and everyone.
