I go to Sally's for my shampoo and conditioner. In my experience, their generics are all very comparable to the name brands. I also bought a ceramic flat iron from them a couple years ago, and it's still working great. I am not impressed with their make up or nail polish selection. more

Sally's Beauty 10/31/2005

This is one of my favorite beauty supply stores in the city. Granted, they do not carry name brand items, but its as close as you can get. The products are very good for generic and the prices are very reasonable. I like buying such things as hairbrushes and nail polish. What I do not like however is the selection of flat irons. They are not the greatest. But overall great store. more

Sally's offers alot of cheap items, but you get what you pay for. All items there are knock offs, which is fine. You shouldn't expect some designer products from this store because its just not Sally's style. Sally's is meant to be generic. So don't be disappointed if you think you are getting short chaged. Prices are low because over all quality is low. more
