Salisbury Family Dental

I started using Salisbury Family Dental in 2000 and I moved to Quincy MA in 2003. I got a new dentist in Quincy but was not happy with the service so I travel an hour to Salisbury Family Dental and am very satisfied. I expecially like that the prices are considerably less than the dentist in Quincy. I save aproximatly $200 on crowns which is worth the trip considering I have 4 and my daughter has one. Salisbury Family Dental is always easy to get an appointment which makes it convient as well. more

I got a cleaning here because they took my insurance. They told me I needed 4 cavities refilled and sent me off with a 900 estimate. I figured since my ins did not cover that and I had to pay I would go to where I liked-Ditolla Amesbury. Having my mother watch my son for the afternoon anticipating a needle, Novocaine a day full of not eating and a ton of money I did not have I was off. Well after she looked at my exras-which Salish Dental charged me 25 bucks for(most dentists do not charge for xrays) she told me i did not need four fillings at all. She put some sealant on them and 140 bucks and 20 minutes later I was out the door. So my cleaning here was well, however I think they exaggerated my cavity to try to get some extra cash & I will never go to them or recommend them again. more

The dentist bullied me into getting wisdom teeth removed. Told me it would not be a big deal, even though I felt like I needed an oral surgeon because of my anxiety. He hacked away at my teeth on the table. He chipped on of my other teeth, I have cuts on both sides of my mouth and gums that are nowhere near my wisdoms. I end up getting 2 dry sockets on the same side and go to the ER, which I think pissed them off. I went in to get some kind of filling (it was never explained to me) and they did not use any numbing agent at all and were extremely rough. I went back again in extreme pain a couple days later and they rip out the old filling material and put new one in the bottom so rough that I was yelling for him to stop, where he just says almost done. After that episode he refused to give me another prescription for pain meds saying he has already given me more than he normally does and would not even listen to my case and walked out, when I tried to explain to him that I wasn more

I have spoken to this dentist office on many occasions and they have the most rude staff members i have ever heard of. They charge a ridiculous fee to get your x-rays sent elsewhere, and the staff is very unpleasant. I would NEVER refer anybody there nor would i ever go there myself. more

I had not been to the dentist in many years. I was really apprehensive and embarrassed at the condition of my teeth. The staff made me feel at ease, were kind and friendly. The hygenist was GREAT as well as Dr. Mayani who was caring and sensitive to my concerns and fears. I would highly recommend this practice! Best dentist office around. The staff is very nice. The Dentist is great. He knows exactly what he's doing every time. He is fast and thorough. Anyone that is afraid of the dentist- i recommend that you go here. I will never go anywhere else as long as they are in business. Pros: plenty of parking. very nice people. appointments on time more
