Great Dr. 8/10/2011

Dr. Hoffman Has been my Dr since 1983. He delivered my children and all of my grandchildren. I felt compailed to write after reading the response from Vanessa P. I have never waited longer than 30 minutes the entire time I have been his patient. Some of the other Dr's maybe but then again the Dr's are very patient. Also, the office does not accept Medi-cal so I am inclined to believe Vanessa has the wrong office. more

Great Bedside Manner 7/21/2011

In reading the other post, I felt obligated to write a response. I have been going to Salinas Family Practice for the past 7 years and I have been very impressed with the interactions I have had with the Physicians there. They are very professional and have a great bedside manner, which is important to me. I agree with the point that was made, that there can be a wait, but the service out weighs the wait occasional wait time. more

Hoffman James K Md - Salinas Family Practice 8/27/2009

Dr. Hoffman and crew are very good. When I was pregnant 5 years ago, it turned out that my doctor could not see me and referred me to another of his associates. She and I did not work well together, and eventually my insurance company helped me find Dr. Hoffman. He was a godsend! He has always taken time to talk to me and let me ask any questions I have. He is very casual and non-pressuring. He is really good with my son whom he delivered. He is very laid back, but professional. If I had to choose any doctor I have ever met in my life, he is who I would choose to entrust with my life. \r \r All I can say is if doctor's scare you - try and get an appointment with him. more

Longest Wait Ever 8/2/2008

I took my daughter here for a while and it was a disaster. The staff is very friendly however and the doctors as well, however, the wait is so long. If you have an appointment you wouldn't be seen until possibly an hour and a half later. It was ridiculous. But as always the customer service is great so I guess it makes up for the waiting period. Also they do take Medi-Cal so maybe that explains the wait as well. more
