Saleem's is known for garlic. That being said, I was suprised when our order of roasted garlic was so small! It wasn't elephant garlic, that's for sure, but it still was tasty. It's not a very garlicy restaurant at all, in fact, I think I cook with more, but we are in the midwest were taste buds generally curl at the thought of something "exotic". The food was great, the falafel really crispy and cruncy. The steak done perfectly (for my husband) and the mashed potatoes filling. I got the portabello mushroom and it was a good portion. A bit heavy on the salad dressings, but overall a nice night out. We unfortunately missed the live entertainment for the evening, I was looking forward to it.
If I had my choice between Saleem's and MoMo's, I would choose MoMo's. Unless I was craving falafel, then we'd have to go to Saleem's, where it was just so crispy and good!
