Top Notch Work On Time 1/9/2016

EXCELLENT! They arrived on time. And with smiles. Those were the first clues this would be a positive painting experience. It was. Amazingly, they never seemed to stop working and got the job done in ONE DAY instead of two. They moved a LOT of furniture without complaint--and then moved it all back in place when the job was finished. The workers were cheerful, hardworking and focused on doing a GREAT JOB. Best of all, I trust them to be in my home. I would hire Salacki Painting again without hesitation. more

I have hired Ray to paint my townhouse twice and the deck once. Ray priced me reasonably for these jobs, and acted very fast to get the jobs done. What I appreciate it about Ray is that he knows exactly what to do and required minimum maintenance and instructions. He and his team delivered the results to my expectations. more

For both exterior and interior painting, Salacki Painting is the best choice to meet all the customer's needs. Mr. Salacki and fellow employees ensure stellar workmanship and impeccable service. For example, when repainting plaster walls, he and his crew carefully repair surfaces to remove indentations, pock marks or any other flaws. Further, if unusual surfaces such as factory finished cabinets need to be repainted, found in bathrooms and kitchens, Mr. Salacki directs you to the correct paint choice, given the original paint composition. Regarding conduct, Mr. Salacki and employees are honest, polite, careful, devoting themselves to the task as if it is a project in their own home. Indeed, the demarcation lines between ceiling and wall are impeccably straight (like an arrow). Moreover, no streaking, smears or drips are detectable, even around wood work or window frames. Finally, the work area is left clean and neat. I highly recommend Salacki Painting, both for historical homes such as mine (circa 1925) or even for newer homes. His prices can not be beat. His quality can not be matched! more

I needed the interior of my entire home painted (minus 3 bathrooms). Caulked and painted ceilings, walls, moulding, trim and doors. I was very happy to come across Salacki Painting. His estimate was very reasonable. I lost my job and he even honored his estimate almost a year later. You don't find that with many businesses any more. So they came and did a fantastic job within the time frame he promised. Not a DRIP to be found and the lines were PERFECT. I still look around the house in awe. After it dried, there was one spot in my ceiling that needed touching up, but for the price and time frame and the precision...I grabbed the paint brush and fixed it in 60 seconds. I'm having my basement refinished right now. I will DEFINITELY be calling Ray back. He and his crew were awesome. And I know my basement will be flawless! more

Home Exterior Painting 8/2/2011

We are very happy to have met Ray. From his first visit to preparing our exterior cedar siding (repairing what needed to be repaired) to painting and finishing, Ray and his team of painters was attentive, professional in the quality of their work, and quick. He even went out of his way to get us the right kind and color of paint for our shutters when the paint we got from the big chain store was incorrectly mixed. We had a great experience and would recommend his team without hesitation. more

Disappointed 7/9/2011

Although a very nice man. He drops off a few workers and picks them up at the end of the day. Had to go over and have constant repair or re do of work (irritating but ok job) Until Fri afternoon. The job was suddenly speeded up there were surfaces left unpainted, ceiling bleed thru after being reassure they would do 2 coats on ceiling. After really seeing it all contacted him to give an opportunity to fix. He sent one worker and the job was not done well. Very sad about the experience. more

Many calls, then an answer, then a promise to call before coming. Alas, they never called or did they come to look at the job. They do not have respect for the consumer, who waits for them for days based on a promise to call, show or just turning the job down sight unseen. more

Very satisfied 3/24/2011

Ray was the man. His crew did a tremendous job. Very professional throughout. I used Ray 10 years ago to paint the inside of my house. Had no reservations to use him to paint the outside of my house. The Wiz had a saying - Nobody beats the Wiz. Well nobody beats Ray's prices. Very reasonable. Would highly recommend him. more

Great job! 11/21/2009

Our kitchen and bathroom recently underwent some water damage which necessitated the removal of the sheetrock from the bottom of the kitchen and bathroom walls. I contacted several painters for estimates to install new sheetrock, install new molding at the bottoms of the walls and to paint both rooms after removing the existing wallpaper. Ray understood what the job entailed and gave a most reasonable estimate so we hired him. We couldn't be happier with the job that Ray and his workers did. Not only were the rooms painted beautifully after he expertly removed the old wallpaper, but Ray did a totally first rate job installing the new sheetrock and molding as well. We are so pleased with his work that we immediately hired Ray to paint our family room and hallway which he also completed quickly and beautifully. Ray proved to be reliable, conscientious and responsive and we will be contacting him again in the future to do more work in our home. more

Great work! 8/25/2009

We met with Ray on Friday for a house we were closing on on Monday and he got all of the rooms that we requested painted before we moved in on Thursday. Ray and his workers did a great job. I would definitely recommend him to other people and we are planning having him do more work for us. more

Another great job! 4/12/2009

This is the second time I've used Ray and his workers. This time I was moving to a newly-purchased home that needed some interior painting and wallpaper removal before I moved in AND also needed the existing home to have some interior painting completed in time for the renters to move in. Ray gave a fair price on both homes, committed to the very restricted time frame, delivered with excellence and most importantly handled the "add-on" requests with a smile. Ray is your man!! more

Excellent Work 2/13/2009

We hired Ray and Salacki Painters to paint our condo. Excellent work. They priced it just right to fit our budget without compromising on what we wanted. And they cleaned up pretty good without leaving any spots on the carpet.\r I had a carpet cleaner from "A Friendly Carpet" coming the next day and he left grease spots on the walls. Ray even agreed to come and paint the spots for me at no extra cost while the cleaner wouldn't even acknowledge his mistake.\r Overall excellent work at a very good price. Highly recommended. more
