For my birthday I chose for my family to go to this restaurant, based on the fact that I had 2 buy one get one free dinner coupons that came from a $25 coupon book, CitiPass. Upon arriving and receiving our food, we went to pay for the check, and gave our server the coupons for our separate checks and receive the discount. The manager proceeded to come out and say that they would not accept the coupons anymore, even though they had not expired. We asked why, and she explained that they changed their minds and were no longer valid. We began to vent our frustrations about false advertising and she said, ""We have to pay our bills, and we cannot let you have free food"". I know for a fact, as I have worked for marketing firms like Citi-Pass, that they do not publish something if you do not want them to, and will send a letter to the customers who purchased the book, stating that something has changed. The restaurant didn't even have a sign in the establishment saying the coupon was not accepted. We were completely oblivious to this and caught off guard. Not only did we have to pay for something unexpectedly, they were very rude to us and made it out to be our fault. Our server also told us that the same thing has happened to several customers recently. They are bringing customers in on false pretenses and ripping them off!
