I needed a new hairdresser and decided on Saints and Sinners by the ratings posted. All I can say is I found a new hairdresser, her name is Vanessa. She has a wonderful technique highlighting and styling my hair. I know the products used are quality because my hair that is super fine and damages easily is still looking great after 8 weeks. The reason I waited so long to post is because alot of times you can get your hair done and in a few weeks it can lose its color. Vanessa did a great job, she takes her time and listens to what you want. Everyone is friendly, the prices are very reasonable. I payed attention to the other hair stylists and found all of them were talented and their customers all left satisfied. If you are looking for a new place to get your hair done, this it the place to try. Everyone is talented in what they do and great on customer satisfaction. more

SAINTS AND SINNERS IS INCREDIBLE ! 9/3/2010

Saints and Sinners is EDGY, and MODERN; yet has a warm welcoming atmosphere. The staff is FRIENDLY, and ATTENTIVE. I have my hair cut, styled, deep conditioned and colored at Saint and Sinners with VANESSA G. She is friendly, PROFESSIONAL , INNOVATIVE, CREATIVE as well as knowledgeable of product and current hair styles and color. I have very curly hair and VANESSA G. cuts it perfectly every time. Even when I straighten my hair it still looks AMAZING! I am constantly getting compliments on my cut, style and color. I ? SAINTS & SINNERS!!!!!! more

ITS A HIT!! 8/3/2010

I called the salon after reading a few very good reviews and seen that the salon as a whole had a lot of great reviews so I took a chance and asked to be booked with a stylist who was available at the time most convenient for me. The young lady who greeted me on the phone who I am assuming was the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She booked me with Vanessa P. I have to say it has to be the best my hair has looked in a long time. The color was dead on and she cut my hair PERFECT! Its still long the way my husband loves it but she cut enough of my dry split ends to bring it back to life!!! I love this salon and I'm glad I took a chance with Vanessa. The entire staff was fun and I look forward to keeping Vanessa as my stylist as long as she will have me!! Pros: Great Staff, Great fun, and even Greater Hair!! more

Wow. Wow. Wow, That's all I have to say about the Saints and Sinners Salon. I went in and had VERO cut, color and style my hair, I was soo impressed she is so talented for such a young age!!! I recommend her hand down!!! The staff there is perfection, especially VERO as well as Chemo. The first time I went there I was very impressed and I've been coming back ever since because of their service and their expertise is phenomenal!!! VERO is extremely talented and I know that VERO and Chemo are going places!!! They are so friendly and have the hospitality of a small town salon but the service of a big time L.A salon!!!!! I cannot recommend them any more! You have to see and experience it, so go on and see them!!! You won't regret it. Chemo and Vero really deserve all this praise, they are truly talented!! Pros: expert, professional, well rounded, personalized service... Cons: none!!!!! :D more

I have been going to saints & sinners for a really long time now. I love how nice everyone is there and I really love the way my hair turns out EVERY SINGLE TIME.... this is the best hair salon out there and I think you should try them.. If you want awesome personalized service from an expert hair styler, you need to go to Chemo at Saints and Sinners. I and my wife have been clients of Chemo for about 2 years now, we wont go with anyone else, and there is never a disappointment with how your hair comes out. I love my new haircut! 3/19/2010

I just came back from my first visit here and I couldn't be more pleased. As soon as I came in, the staff was very attentive. VERO, one of the many brilliant stylist's there, cut my hair into an A-line bob. I know I will come again. Vero did an awesome job; She took her time and I could tell she really wanted to help me look my best. The entire experience was really unique, (I got to sip complementary wine as I waited to get my hair cut). It's kind of surprising to find a salon like this in Downey. I can't wait to come again! more

Talented and Friendly 3/11/2010

I blindly came here based upon a passing reference from my friend. So I came here with low expectations but hoping for the best. I was completely blown away. The place is totally laid back and isn't pretentious at all. Everyone was super friendly and attentive as soon as you walk in. Vero cut my hair and my instructions was: make it long and pretty. She took her time and care to give me an amazing new look. It wasn't too drastic but it had this understated stylish look that I wanted. And she makes sure that you know what's going on and it was nice to know for once. Definitely make an appointment. If price is an issue ask for the price ($45+). BEEN GOING THERE FOR AWHILE NOW, MANDI IS MY STYLIST, AND IVE ALWAYS LOVE THE WAY SHE DOES MY HAIR. SHE ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL WELCOME AND COMFORTABLE... Greatest hairstylist EVER!! 2/27/2010

I came to Saints & Sinners this week to see my wonderful hairstylist, Chemo. He cut and colored my hair, and, like always, did such an amazing job. Every time I leave the salon, I look and feel great! Chemo colored my hair red, and I get compliments everywhere I go about how beautiful the color is. Friends and strangers always ask who is my hairstylist or where I got my hair colored. I have seen his work on other clients, and it is evident that he is very good at what he does. I trust him completely with my hair. Additionally, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend that you visit Saints & Sinners Hair Salon in Downey and ask for Chemo when you want to get a great haircut, color, or hairstyle! They will not let you down. Worst ever 2/22/2010

Went there a few weeks ago for high/low lights and a haircut. Both-worst ever. In the salon it looked great, but trying to style the cut at home-impossible. The whitish color of the the highlights instead of a natural blond I asked for, looks horrible.Terrible,terrible,terrible and that for 300 bucks. The ' stylist's' name-don't remember anymore, but he is not mentioned on their web page. DO NOT go to him,ever. Cheap cuts do a better job!!!!! more

Best Experience Ever!! 1/19/2010

I recently visited Saints and Sinners Salon and had the best experience. My previous stylist who had done my hair only a few times always made me feel as though I never knew what I was talking about when I told her what I would like done to my hair. I mentioned this to a coworker of mine and she told me about Vanessa Perez. so I decided to give her a try. I spoke to her directly and I immediately felt comfortable just from our phone conversation. Upon arrival we consulted and she listened to everything I wanted to have done to my hair. I've recieved so many compliments and I have never been as happy with my hair as I have since Vanessa did it!! Pros: Wine!! more
