I started having Saigon eggrolls when I was 5 years old. They were consistently the best eggrolls anywhere for 30 years. Also, I agree with the other writer, the lemongrass chicken is irreplaceable!!!! I keep going to other Vietnamese restaurants hoping to find lemongrass chicken like I had for 20 years at the Saigon (when I was little it was too spicy for me). So sad. I drove up one day and it became a Tai Kwan Do studio. Saigon - R.I.P. Please send your recipes to me!!! more

Egg rolls to die for 12/18/2005

I have ordered egg rolls everywhere from Washington D.C. to Seattle, but they never come close to those at Siagon! I am spoiled forever. Make sure you bring cash, because they don't take credit cards! more

The BEST Egg Rolls Around 5/22/2002

For nearly 30 years, Saigon's food has been consistently excellent. Do not pass up the best Vietname egg rolls in the Twin Cities ... I cannot stomach the egg rolls at any other place anymore. And if you really need sinus-blasting spicy food, order #66 (Lemongrass Chicken) with ""authentic Vietnamese spices"" - literally makes me cry, but it is also incredibly flavorful.
