The SceneOpen and airy, Saigon Cafe is comfortable and elegant, with contemporary architecture and a warm, subtle color scheme. Sit in one of three dining areas or relax with a pre-dinner cocktail at the full bar. Servers are informal but will go out of their way to make your dining experience a good one. The FoodFood lovers will be delighted with the exotic Vietnamese, Thai and French creations of chefs Be Phan and Axel Dikkers, two notable Charlotte talents. You'll find tender baby eggplants baked with velvety goat cheese and toasted pine nuts, along with delicate, fresh spring rolls served with a spicy peanut sauce. The chicken coconut curry is a real treat, combining carrots, potatoes and lemon grass with just the right balance of spices. Homemade desserts include a unique ginger flan with caramel sauce and a delightful hazelnut croquant with a smooth, mousse-like filling and chocolate crust.
