the place is ghetto and I quote my friends on that one too. they wont let you smoke in the patio at 12:50am.. bc they say its too late.. before it closes on the weekends.. they kick everybody out by 1:30..not worth it. Def ghetto for Whittier but maybe that what they city is turning into..
they ask for your email and phone number to get you to come in into their empty venue,.. sent everybody the following text: TONITE, Club SAGE in Whittier, Ladies Free b4 11pm, guys Free b4 1030, 2 rooms, $3 Drinks all night long. M-F Gogos, 700 ppl plus, 21 and over. ( wish this was true) They hold the line everytime..on purpose..they only let their friends cut in and you get to wait and wait and wait,... and wait. and once you get inside after you pay 20 bucks at the door bc u got there "LATE" there is only 15 people inside.. wtf?
they do not honor the 3 dollar drinks all night long like they said.. and when we all asked them and show them the text message they sent out..... they said no! I am sorry pay full price for your drinks or get kicked out by that big guy security mad dogging! Ghettoooo!! Bullys!!, .. $20 for two small mix drinks with cheep alcohol.. everyone in the club got the same text message from their (sage) number. they also say $5 patron shots all night long when they charge you twice that price.. the times I did go there I went with no less than 10 people, we will no longer go to Sage.LA Bars are better! If you want to dance by yourself in an empty "nightclub" and pay overpriced drinks.. for water down drinks thats your spot to be at. If not go to havanna house a block away or go to the radisson hotel they are pretty kool there and they are not greedy !!
Pros: they let you in after paying 20 bucks at the door waiting
