I found the restaurant on citysearch while planning a weekend getaway to ATL from Nashville. I showed up and hour and a half late for my reservation, not realizing we were staying so far away from Sage. I was greeted by Roy, who is nothing if not GREAT!! Super-friendly atmosphere, wonderful food, and well-priced menu make this restaurant a great find. I would go back anytime!! Sage proved to be a wonderful experience. Three friends took me there for birthday dinner and we could not have been more delighted. Our waiter provided real help on selecting a bottle of wine, and the crab cake appetizer was delicious! Three of us had beef entrees and they were cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The first time I went to Sage, it was good--just good. I had the pecan crsuted trout, my friend had the mussels. She had to send them back because they were bad. My trout was good, but not great. I tried it again, except the experience was worse. On a third try, the bread was stale, the service slow, and the appetizers were hardly edible. We stopped there and left. Never again! more

This was our first time dining at Sage. We waited nearly 10 minutes for our server to take our drink orders. Salads took nearly half an hour to come out, but dinner was served a reasonable amount of time after that. The entrees had been sitting under a warming lamp for too long and were a little crusty on top. The food was a little cold but good. We didn't want to have to wait to get it reheated. The ambiance and decor was very nice. We noticed a very diverse crowd in the restaurant. We also stopped to listen to the live jazz band they had playing outside. Pros: Good ambiance, Nice Decor Cons: Slow Service, Food Cold more
