Saffron is a great new place to get Indian food with a lot of fresh style.\r \r It's not your typical red-chicken and nondescript-chickpea sort of Indian place. Look for interesting meat and vegetarian dishes, homemade cheeses, complimentary sauces & puppodums, and fresh breads.\r \r Also, the lunch buffet is great way to get a peek at the menu. \r more

Best Indian cusine & great ambience 6/16/2006

Need a diversion from the ordinary? ""Saffron"" provides a complete escapist dining experience. With candle flames reflecting sheen of white china plates I sat and sipped wine from exhaustive list of more than 100 different wines. Rare is the restaurant dominated by a figure other than the chef, but here owner serves as greeter, menu interpreter and entertainer. The chef is a rare find, inventive and genuine in every respect and really cares about his clientele. A true joy!...\r Pros: Great Ambience more

Great wine list 6/16/2006

Great new hot spot! Sleek contemporay design with a great bar...I am new to Indian food but the management was very helpful in menu selection & picking the right bottle of wine. Try thier Okra dish....everyone at our table loved it. Pros: great service more
