Terrible and evil store 10/3/2011

Do not use gift card in this store,when the transaction was cancelled ,the store will not refund the money to you,your gift card balance will become ZERO. BAD CUSTOM SERVICE and NOT PROFESSIONAL. The cashier will not notify you before they cancel your transaction when you check out use the self-check machine with problems and never give you receipt.so your gift card balance became zero and you have no receipt. The store stole your money and not admit. more

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THESE IDIOTS, BUYER BEWARE!!! 12/13/2008

I spent almsot $500.00 in gift cards, sent them to friends and they are coming back as not activated and Safeway won't do anything. I had to call 1800safeway, (or 1800 waste your time) and they'll fill out a giftcard research form and I'm screwed. Too bad I'm going to the bank monday to fill out a chargeback form and FU Safeway... Starting to shop Lucky's again!!! more

Got to love your Safeway Rewards... 6/13/2007

Safeways have recently upgraded their look and food selections. At this particular location (Sunnyvale), the parking lot is VERY cramped and tight. I'm surprised more people down crash into each other. The best time to go grocery shopping is later in the day/night. Nice customer service and very clean. Pros: Great location: WaMu, Starbucks, Jamba, Bagels shop, & Blockbuster in plaza Cons: Parking is too cramped more
