I love this place. Honestly, there are many, many grocery stores available to me in the same distance Safeway is. Wal-Mart may occasionally beat them for prices (though Safeway is very competitive!), but the service is untouched anywhere else in Mount Vernon. Perhaps I receive good service because I am always there (I seriously go 2+ times per day, ha!), but I never wait in line, there is someone to ask for help, and being in the store is comfortable. I wayyyy recommend Safeway over Wal-Mart, Haggen, Food Pavilion, anywhere else. Best store in town!! more

YOU CAN ONLY CASH A SAFEWAY W.U. M.O. DOESNT MAKE SENSE THEY KNOW THERE FRAUDULENT BUT SELLS THEM FOR THAT EXTRA FEW BUCKS, KNOWING NOT A DANG PERSON WILL CASH THEM, GO TO BOW PEOPLE WHERE HONESTY IS STILL VALUED. more
